Just had a look around a few messages boards & this one seems a fun place to be at the moment. 1) Manager not speaking to Chairman. 2) Chairman not speaking to Manager. 3) Fans asking other fans to boycott shops who sponsor the football club. 4) Fans writing to the Football League asking them to take action against the Chairman. 5) Returning of Season Tickets. 6) Boycotts of games being planned here, there & everywhere. Makes DATM a really positive place to be & puts into perspective the just what a well run club we really have.

Feel some sympathy for the genuine fans but there were so many bandwaggoners bigging themselves up when they reached the Prem it takes some doing. Been on the cards for a long time though, current chairman as bad as his father was. Didn't they use the promotion money to build a hotel or something?

They did, I stayed in it a couple of years ago when the Open golf was at Lytham. Very nice place.

Wonder what happened to the 28,000 'fans' they took to Wembley in the playoff finals. Don't like Blackpool after they bricked our coaches in 2005 but they are a proper football club and it is sad to see them struggling with off field matters.

Could say the same about us, 32000 at the Old Trafford play-off final and just over 11000 at home against Charlton last time out!

Well it goes to show doesn't it, people are happy to leach onto a Club when everything is going well but few will support in times of need.
This week on deadline day some moron said to me,
'I quit watching a long time ago because Hoyle is too tight, not paying £20 to Town. Why can't Hoyle just spend £50 million on getting us to the Premier League because he can afford it'.
He was deadly serious too.

I know quite a few "genuine" Pool fans and they have been royally stuffed. Mind you there are plenty of plastic fans who have also melted away....

Hope they sort it out and avoid relegation, it's a decent away day.

They've got a job on to avoid the drop... Although saying that we're only 4 points better off!

If I had, say £200m, I'd keep £10m for my self (more than enough) and spend the rest on Town. Might not be the smartest thing, and for me to have that kind of money I'd have to win the lottery not build something up from the ground, so it is of course a completey different scenario. It's just the best use of my money, as it would bring me and a lot of other people joy (hopefully). Ok, Ok, some could go to charity as well, I guess.

I was on that coach.....and I was royally pissed off, I didn't get home till god knows what time. One of the few times I actually used the coach since I was a kid and it gets bricked!! Jacko came onto the coach too when he found out.

Perfect story this of 'Greed and Regret'
All minority who said DH doesnt do enough for this club or doesnt care needs there head checking, they only need to look at the dark days of Davey for example ,but not going there as we on the up now.He waited got his new manager in who i am sure is going to surprise a lot of people on here how well he is going to do and yet again leave the club on another sound football footing after another season.
As for Blackpool, i kind of have mixed thoughts about them as had many good weekends away there and good matches against them ,then all of a sudden BOOM they got greedy with Holloway signed every forward going on massive wages and when didnt keep in premiership after signing yet another abundance of players the club and then so many ins and outs how can that be good for a settled club. To add to this the chairman pockets all the money when starts going tits up and just looks an absolute mess.Remember when they went up and they was sniffing around Jordan Rhodes at the time too coming on this board giving it large and that we a premiership team now jog on lol .
Well for the genuine supporter who follow back and forth yeah i feel for them and i never wanna see no club go under but my point is we may be doing things most say small steps , but would u rather do it our way or the Blackpool way of one season in the premiership and all eggs in one basket and struggle financially for who knows how many seasons now .

One of the best stories I have read recently is that a couple of years back Ian Holloway had scouted the centre back Mehdi Benatia whilst he was playing in France and was keen to sign him. However Blackpool chairman Oyston veto'd the move as he was unwilling to fork out £100,000 for him ! Benatia subsequently moved on to Italian club Udinese, followed by Roma. He was recently sold by Roma to Bayern Munich for £21m ! Unbelievable... www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/could-blackpool-signed-21million-bayern-4130552
