can't see anything but relegation under these tactics - utterly woeful from minute 1. We have absolutely no threat in the final third what so ever its fucking embarrassing. Add to that we still can't defend against a very average attack that Leeds have... It doesn't look good for us. What exactly are wrong with the tactics? Weve had nearly all the possession in this game. By all means blame the lack of personnel or defensive blunders but this is a similar set up to Reading (our only win). Under Lillis he made sure the players got forward in numbers to support the loan striker in Wells. What we are seeing at the moment is nothing like that, it's the complete opposite, we are so light and outnumbered when we attack its unbelievable. Not just a coincidence we actually scored and looked like scoring at Reading and don't here.

Have faith. Powell will replicate the success he had at Charlton. Just amazed no other club saw it first

Its such negative tactical football, we have set out in the last 3 games to draw 0-0 and never once looked like we might win the game. Time wasting at home against one of the worst Wigan sides we have seen who were there for the taking sums it all up. I didnt expect anything different today and I am not surprised to see the score. Unless we change the style and tactics quickly we will be down very early this season Today can hardly be described as being set up for a draw. The intent is like chalk and cheese from Tuesday.

Nahki Wells' touch is bloody shocking for a player at this level. Can't put all his failings down to not having a big man at his side. What does he practice all week?

Definite confidence issue. 1st Smithies actually over played the deflection for the first. Robinson out of position.lynch row z please and reorganize. 2nd Where is the desire for the second? Surely Peltier has to be challenging for the rebound? Not in the frame

Had to give my ticket away for this game but I still wish I was there rather than reading the shit on here (and don't say the usual "don't read it then!" Deano done shit since Christmas, Wells shit,Hogg shit,Lynch shit, Coady shit, Scannell shit, Bunn a one trick pony, Powell shit,Smithies at fault and on and on. I can see a definite improvement from only a week ago in the way we move the ball. Give them time-this is the 8th game of a 46 game season and get behind the club FFS.We can still get something from this.

We haven't been negative tactics wise, we have pushed men on and supported wells. I don't know what more we could have done really

Is there a reason why opposition teams bother picking a keeper when playing against us?

Decent play from Bunn, good block from their defence to deny Wells a shot on target.

Why do we always try to do longer throws into the box when we've got three midgets up front? Again a counter attack following a strong position for Town.

Why Hogg and not Radi in a 3 man midfield ? We go defensive and still we ave conceded 2...Has Hammill fallen out with Powell dont believe the hype with this knock nonsense

Eh? That's what I'm saying, wells has been poor, not the tactics. Players have supported him but he's been so poor we can't build anything. You could say bunn is isolated on the left but he has managed to create things solely on his own. Wells either is severely lacking confidence or is just not good enough

It's always been a case of game over as soon as we concede, so don't see why that would change now. Especially considering we've been shit in all the games so far under Powell and if we are to win anything it's probably going to be a 1-0. This is backed up by the statistic that we've scored what, 1 goal in his time here so far? I like him, and was happy with his appointment, but I have to say we've been fucking awful under him so far.

Everyone agreed that we were stronger than previous seasons following the end of this transfer window.. so can someone explain to me why the hell we're doing worse? vaughan has carried us throughout the whole time we've been in this division - simple as that IMO.

Not sure Powell knows what he is doing based on things so far. Scannell plays well, he wants him to stay then doesn't play him, plays wars who does something and then puts scannell in?
