Around £3m. Plus it could be argued the ~ £2.5m all Championship clubs get from the Premier League as "solidarity payments" is related to "broadcast fees". F M U K -- Thank you for that information. Surely the filming of matches at grounds was never intended to be broadcast live through websites like wiziwig. The feed is either for foreign broadcasters or more often betting websites for in running betting. Bet365/unibet etc. The website simply lifts the feed from there.. All the games are filmed in full anyway. It's only the lone static camera in the gantry

Has anyone signed up to the betting site and is the stream better? Wouldn't usually sign up to such things. But the wiziwig even at 30gb virgin is a bit shit.

Go to the App Store on your iPad and search for 'Puffin Browser' and buy it. Now instead of using Safari, use Puffin and enter the wiziwig game address and hey presto! I recall there being a free (light) edition of Puffin Browser and a full version that cost and out £2.50. I bought the full version as I didn't know what restrictions the light version had. The stream goes live at around 14:55 then it's simply a case of closing a couple of small windows being careful not to activate the many pop-ups. Best App I've ever bought!

Still it is a million miles better than paying for the Oggy and Keiran commentary which displaced Town fans had to settle for before the 'bit shit' stream. Nothing could ever compete with being there on a matchday but I'll take it while I can't attend.

I watched the Merseyside derby before the Town game on Saturday. The quality was great and had the comentary too, unlike the Town streams. If I had the Sky Sports package I'm not sure I'd cancel it now I'm aware of wiziwig. On the other hand I bought a month of Sky Sports to match the final month of last season and I won't be doing that again providing wiziwig stays up and running.

Could someone tell me how to watch town on wiziwig so it isn't awful quality? Sometimes it freezes for about 30 seconds, really difficult to follow whats going on. Am I missing some useful software that I should download?
cheers

If he's dumb enough to miss a thread on the exact same topic two below this one I fear for his chances finding the little x's to close the pop-ups.

If makes you feel clever to belittle/bully people on here then thats great for you. But Just have a think about what your saying hey? Bit of perspective. You don't know anything about the people your labelling.

Unfortunately the stream will lag every 2-3 minutes, but it's better than nothing I guess.

Of Course having Sky Sports would have been irrelevant in that decision Saturday, given Liverpool v Everton was on BT Sport!

I'm right though. How hard is it to read the top threads before making a new one? Fourth thread down including the two stickies. How fkn hard is it to see that?
And then you're looking for advice on something much more technical and easier to mess up.
If I didn't know your posts I could put it down to tiredness but I've read enough from you to reach my own conclusion. If it upsets you there's not much I can do about that but one thing you can do is have a read over the forum before making dumb duplicate threads. They clog up the place.

The bullying thing couldn't be further from the truth. I come on here to have a laugh with folk and learn about the latest Town developments. I will speak my mind though. If I think someone or something is stupid I have no fear in saying it. I do stupid things too, nobody is perfect.
Don't take yourself so seriously.

Which ad blocker is safe and effective for Firefox or Chrome? I have tried full screen but it tends to make the picture very blurred, hence I have not done it since I noticed that. I can slightly increase the size by pressing "ctrl" and "+" at the same time and this helps a bit. Since I live 8 time zones away from Town wiziwig is a great help. I miss the commentary but I partially solve the problem by setting up the BBC site BBC Sports - Football-Championship then clicking on the Town game, on my other monitor. This shows details of the yellow/red cards, substitutions and goal scorers with regular updates. It is not perfect but it beats not seeing it at all. Last Saturday wiziwig drowned out the Town Player commentary but it is not very good anyway as it always seems to be quite a bit out of since with the video.

Don't get me wrong, it's a great service, although it does make me wonder why I even bother going to watch. It's a much better seat at home, a better view and If I get the kids singing it's a better atmosphere. I can get a bovril and not miss the game and the only person I have to queue for the toilet with is the missus, I can even put the heating on. I don't have to queue on leeds road to get there or All that's missing is a full HD, continous stream.

Going full screen does really work. Any fuzziness is down to the resolution of the stream and there's not much can be done about that. It will vary some, match to match.
I'm sure the Firefox ad blocker was imaginatively called 'ad blocker'.

For anyone using Puffin, there is an easy way to avoid having to click all the little (x) on the ads.
From wiziwiz, click the (play now) link, then ALL you need to do is look down the bottom right of the screen, there is a grey coloured keyboard, above that is three vertical dots.
Click the vertical dots, then click (Theater Mode), the video goes full screen.
On Android, using Dolphin browser, not found an easy way other than waiting for the initial countdown, then "zooming in" to the screen to aid clicking the (x)'s.

I would have thought that was obvious; a) Which Town fan wouldn't want to go - if they could? b) Surly your "Super duper Kryptonite Membership" would mean you have to. c) Do I need a "C"?
