What do some people expect from an added free service. Wiziwig is a lifeline for those who live outside the area, especially living abroad. . There are bound to be days when wiziwig will become a second option for cash strapped local supporters. B T sports package is £46 a month or £520 a year plus that usually comes with a long term contract. I watched the giants through wiziwig / Sky 1 on Friday night and the picture/ commentary was perfect.

2 options. Install an ad blocker on firefox or chrome. Alternatively carefully wait for the stream to load then x out of the ads and go full screen to avoid any more loading Bolton, Does going full screen really work? Which ad blocker is safe and effective for Firefox or Chrome? I have tried full screen but it tends to make the picture very blurred, hence I have not done it since I noticed that. I can slightly increase the size by pressing "ctrl" and "+" at the same time and this helps a bit. Since I live 8 time zones away from Town wiziwig is a great help. I miss the commentary but I partially solve the problem by setting up the BBC site BBC Sports - Football-Championship then clicking on the Town game, on my other monitor. This shows details of the yellow/red cards, substitutions and goal scorers with regular updates. It is not perfect but it beats not seeing it at all. Last Saturday wiziwig drowned out the Town Player commentary but it is not very good anyway as it always seems to be quite a bit out of since with the video. Yeah for the HD boxing streams the full screen is fine but these championship streams are being provided by town via one static SD camera. Hence the poor qulaity streams..

Adblock Plus is the most commonly used. With that I still have to hit the little 'x's but you don't actually see the ads that they're attached to. Generally they don't reappear after the initial load.

Has anyone signed up to the betting site and is the stream better? Wouldn't usually sign up to such things. But the wiziwig even at 30gb virgin is a bit shit. Dont think they work if you are a UK customer.. No, it doesn't but it is a godsend for the games I watch a lot of - Ligue 1 & 2, Serie A & B, Bundesliga. 1 & 2, J League 1 & 2. All on my phone, all for the cost of having money in a betting account, all above board.

a) Which Town fan wouldn't want to go - if they could? Me. Live football is dross. Too difficult to see much, too noisy and often far away.

The bullying thing couldn't be further from the truth. I come on here to have a laugh with folk and learn about the latest Town developments. I will speak my mind though. If I think someone or something is stupid I have no fear in saying it. I do stupid things too, nobody is perfect. Don't take yourself so seriously. If me 'clogging it up' upsets you, just because in your opinion, you don't think another thread was called for, maybe you need to try not to take the forum so seriously....

And just for the record, what you are doing is bullying, no matter how you try and justify it..... By all means say your opinion, but don't get personal by name calling, there's no need, which is why the next time I see a post from you which I consider 'stupid' or unnecessary, I'll resist the temptation of calling you 'dumb' or maybe a prick.

If makes you feel clever to belittle/bully people on here then thats great for you. But Just have a think about what your saying hey? Bit of perspective. You don't know anything about the people your labelling. Just make sure you click off the little Xs to get rid of the ads that cover over the screen. Unfortunately the stream will lag every 2-3 minutes, but it's better than nothing I guess. Thanks-I thought maybe I was expecting too much. Every time I try and click the x's, a new screen always pops up.

It's got fuk all to do with 'opinion', there is no need for the second thread. Fact. Nowt to do with opinion, that's a stone cold fact. When clowns like you begin to appreciate this, this place will be better for it.

It's ok but stutters at the wrong time a lot Always thought that's due to the extra data being sent when something like a goal is scored, the different angles flashed quickly, the celebration from 50 different angles etc.

Is it just me, says theres no stream on wiziwig... "This is the Only game that's not shown on Unibet or any tv channel as of yet, so most likely there will be no stream..." or is that just a precaution?

Mong
Megatron - It's just luck really and the Town streams seem to have suffered from higher than normal buffering. I'm watching the Derby one at the moment and it hasn't buffered once in 15 minutes and is just like watching a match on TV, same with the Forest-Fulham stream a couple of weeks back

Just reading through this and the comments about the amount you pay for sky and wondered if anyone actually pays full price for sky? If you do then you want to ring up and cancel asap.
When you initially ring up to cancel the discount they'll offer is luck of the draw, however the day your tv goes off you'll be able to get 50% off and if you negotiate harder/wait a week or two you should be able to get 75% and if you're really lucky/good a credit of up to £100 on your account.
I know plenty of people will know this already but thought it worth mentioning for those people who don't.

Yeah i do agree with you and have cancelled my sky for the first time in years as not at home enough to justify the cost, now using a friends skygo/bt sports app. Picture quality and relying on internet connection can be an issue though. wait for a month they will offer it for half price !! to come back ! i got it for free ! for a year sky sports the full package !! promised not to tell anybody though!!

How many of the 10.4 million Sky customers are aware of wiziwig and would suit their needs.. A saving of £46 a month or £552 a year for a Sky sports bundle is not to be sniffed at how nice not to have an unwanted contract .

Just noticed on that link, it says it is unlikely there will be a stream for this match. Granted I haven't used wiziwig before (or hardly any streams tbh) so I dont know if this is a common thing?
