Jesus, Somebody thinks Greene King and Abbot Ale is shite. Nowt so queer as folk as they say, better stick to John Smiths then! Yep I'm from Hudders, but if you don't like the nutty taste of Abbot then your taste buds are dead. To be honest, everywhere has crap beer, and decent beer. Sometimes they just taste "different".

You mean a spanking like we got at Wolves? But our past away record at Wolves was actually very good whereas it's not so great at Ipswich. Hence people being more inclined to expect a poor result there. We played superbly in the first half at Ipswich last season and should have been 2 or 3 up at half time. Mind you past records mean absolutely bugger all. Its what you do on the day that counts.

Any idea on how many we've sold? See Blackburn took 379 yesterday, surely we'll be taking more than that? 3 of us going anyway! We need names!

Looking forward to this now, just been on the Ipswich board and they are fully confident of a comfortable home win as we're an 'average' Championship side (still think there's nothing between us). Hopefully their squad will also think all they have to do is turn up! Looks like they will have the highly rated and wanted by Arsenal Tyrone Mings missing after picking up his 5th booking last night which means they will have to re-shuffle their back line around. Think if Bunn and Scanz can really get at them we can snatch something Sat, especially if Hudson keeps McGoldrick quiet. Hopefully we are taking quite a few to really make some noise in the pub pre-match! Holty will be bang up for this!

I must say I'm in the 'Greene King is shite' camp. Broadly. Abbot is nice if you like that kind of strong sweet beer, it's just not to my taste. But their IPA is rubbish. Adnams is the beer to look for in Suffolk. Wonderful stuff.

They are the archetypal average Championship team - that we aspire to be! We murdered them for much of the game last season and they robbed us blind. We owe them one I think.

Just read, from someone who has been to buy their ticket for this game today, that we've only sold 310, surely we can do better than that?!

Its a long and expensive way to go from Yorkshire for a third game in a week! I would think a lot of the 310 are Town supporters who live down south. I've got 4 tickets.

The Ale in Suffolk is shyte. Pub across the road from the station, we've had a good sing song in there last 2 years. Suffolk is traditionally on of the top real ale brewing counties of England, Are you missing John Smiths Smooth?

Greene King have deliberately smashed micro brewing in Sufolk and it is pretty naff tbh.

Ok it's a long time since I lived in Essex nearby so maybe Greene King have got a bit too all powerful these days. Never liked IPA myself that much, but Abbot always seemed a good pint to me. It is a completely different taste to Tetleys bitter, granted, as poster above states, sweeter, but also nuttier as I mentioned. Adnams is excellent stuff I totally agree, and Suffolk as mentioned has some fine beers. I just tend to hate all this, their beer is crap stuff. As stated probably everywhere has some decent beers, and I'm not even in the beardie camra brigade. (Well maybe not Wales, only kidding Wales, I know someone will come on and tell me all about an excellent Welsh brewery)

How many tickets have we sold? What's everyone wearing? Where are we meeting? What time is everyone getting there? Anyone else travelling up from London? -so many questions I am going up from London. What train are you on. I think I will get the 10:30. Plenty of time of beer that way.
