Joins Mansfield on loan, according to Jordan Sinnott on Twitter. Not seen anything confirmed officially though.
Edit - Confirmed now, emergency one month loan.

Saw him yesterday and he was subbed as he made little impact on the game and our development squad looked like they would not score if they were still playing now. He is too easily bullied by defenders and seems to have found it hard to make the step up from scoring countless goals in none league to potentially playing in the championship. I wish him well if its true and like with Crooks and Holmes he needs to grab the opportunity and improve his game.

You would think he would be busting a gut at that age but he regularly gives up far too easily, if the ball doesn't come to him he certainly isn't bothered with chasing down to help the rest of the team. Maybe a change of scene and being a bigger fish will suit him. From what I've seen, again against his own age, I doubt that he is capable of higher than league two.

I'm gonna say he'll never play for Town again He looked a no hoper in that game he came on in last season - Birmingham at home I think (mind you most of the team did).

Agreed that he's probably played his last game for us. Hope he proves me wrong, starting with bagging a hatful at Mansfield - but I don't see it.

Can't work out what they possibly could have seen in him. 23 goals in 23 games when he was 18 years old probably had a lot to do with it. Carr, Holmes & Crooks all start on the bench tonight at their respective loan clubs. Stead in the starting XI away at Bristol City.

Can't work out what they possibly could have seen in him. First time I saw him was pre season friendly vs Chesterfield and there certainly seemed to be something about him worth a further look / capable of development. He looked to have decent intelligent movement, pretty swift with it, athletic, perfectly reasonable ball control, and LOOKED like a player who might score goals, and significantly, was a totally different style of player to Stead and Paterson. Just doesn't seem to have worked out since then...but definitely worth a punt.

The guy we wrote off played 90 minutes & scored the equaliser for his team. Meanwhile, Crooks who we'd also written off played 75 minutes at his club.
Our great hope Duane Holmes. Unused sub. Again.

Don't forget the guy is still only 20 and spent most of his career in non-league. Smith and Bunn only broke through at 21 having spent most their time with Man City.
