Thanks to everyone. great to meet Ben, Stu, Cole etc. Thought Coles flags were the best by far. I'm gonna try and make better ones now I know we can get them in the ground. Great day all round. Thanks

Awesome to meet you too Joe, tried to locate you during the game but gave up after 5 mins haha (i'm Stu in case you haven't worked it out)
All the flags were awesome. Both you and Cole should be well chuffed.
NSL is starting to blossom now, good times indeed.

Great effort lads.
The centre block with the flags and scarves looked ace.
It'll take a long time to get the home end we all want, but we've made MASSIVE strides in the right direction in a very short space of time.

Props to Cole and others for the flags, top effort. Here are some short poor-quality videos that do it no justice at all but are videos nonetheless!

Excellent day in there yesterday, looked brilliant with all the flags going, we're starting to find out feet a bit now. Just need more folk to them when signing, appreciate it might be harder further back but if you've got one give it a go to the beat of the song! Coles & JoeHappys flags have inspired me to make a load up too so for Wednesday game there should be even more!

It's just my opinion, but I think the bigger flags should be given to people who are gonna them and in the middle block. Not having ago but some people had them and weren't waving em' top effort by everyone last night, home results are picking up now.

The wednesday game is the one where we need to get people in the stand, and shine! For those town fans watching at home we need to make them see how good it is on TV and get them down regularly

Feel like I'm always banging on about this but is there no way of centralising the fans in the FML? Has there been any dialogue with the club about this? Think it will massively improve things aesthetically and possibly volume-wise.

As far as spreading the noise goes, I did a little experiment yesterday, I was sat on the left hand side of the central block as you face the goal, 2nd row back. We were singing "Blue and White Army", and had been singing it for about 30 seconds. Nobody on the other side of the gangway was joining in, so I turned my head 90 degrees and sang towards that block. 5 or 6 people instantly joined in, that's all it needed to get them singing, instead of concentrating in one area, we need to spread out. Core of singers in the middle with groups of 5 or 6 placed in outer areas encouraging others to sing.

Saw some pics of the Forest fans recent efforts and looked very good as they're all together in one block. Felt like I was fighting a losing battle trying to get people at the back where I was to sing. Got to the point where I was embarrassing my other half so moved closer to the lads down the front!

It's a bit like that at times. The dynamics of the end changed with the early goal, instead of urging the team on we suddenly feel like we're helping the team defend a lead. To be honest, I was a pint short of my required target to go fkin nuts down the front, I'll make sure it doesn't happen again.

I think the core are moving towards the back a little bit more.
Basically we are testing out the best places to sing, we are likely to be halfway up next time.
Mel Smooth is bang on, the second we turn around, everyone hears us and joins in. That's the answer probably.
Some of us need to sacrifice the game a bit for the good of the stand, and that's fine by me - i'll be one.

You've also got to remember that not everyone who is in the lower tier wants to be part of the NSL initiative.
A lot of people will have bought tickets in there simply because it's cheap, or because the just wanna watch from behind the goal or whatever.
I reckon at Town we've only really 1k folk who would want to sing all the time at games, so as much as we try we're not going to get everyone to sing, we need to just encourage others as much as we can.

That's the same in every British ground to me. Only in other countries everyone seems to be massively enthusiastic, physically fit and about the same age. I'm on the edge to be honest with my mate with dodgy knee but when you were Connor Coadying everyone was peeing themselves laughing and eventually we all joined in. It's an atmosphere that is infectious at moment and only a matter of time before NSL take over the world and Town are in Europe. Just pour myself another glass!
