Just wondering if it's possible to get the guy in charge of the tannoy to play just the melody to a few certain songs pre match ? If we could get him/her to play the tune to "Land of hope and glory",particularly, I'm sure that'd set some Town fans off around the ground as they couldn't ressist starting to sing "We will follow the Hudders,Oe'r Air Land or Sea" etc. People would be moved by the tune, the upraising mood of it and the never attitude behind it. If we could get most of the ground joining in that it builds up a camaraderie that we are all in it together all around the ground whatever section we are in,we are all Town fans together, and we are determined to never till we get victory,it'd make the resolve of our fans and the singing more passionate generally away from home too I think if that kind of attitude was built in them by getting involved in singing that song pre match. Also some other good melodies to get the tannoy guy to play just to get the tune in people's heads and ones they'd find it hard not to join in with, well at least quite a few around the ground are :- "Forever and ever,we will follow our Team" "Cheer up sleepy Jean" & "Take my hand" Just an idea.Think it'd be good idea to get the guy in charge of the tannoy to play certain melodies cos it'd get some of the crowd going pre match that wouldn't normally join in any singing. They'll find it difficult to not join in because of the passion in the melody and what they are about and what it means to us as a club. Realise may be too early to ask for things like that, but I think the club will have noticed Sky have noticed even though we have no roof so think they'll see there is real potential in our end and of course realise in time that it will help raise attendances and revenue for the club so they may be open minded to listening to our ideas what melodies could be played over tannoy to help get the crowd going pre match if we just ask them.

They have been playing Hey Jude, I Just Can't get Enough etc every week. Trouble is the guy with the mic talks right up to kick off time and 15 minutes before kick off there is only about 100 people in there. I know cos I'm one of them. Ps I'd rather eat my own foot than listen to Land Of Hope and Glory. How about Hurry Up Harry by Sham 69 for Mr Bunn?

Ir was an idea,it can be other songs, the idea is to get them to play things that are rousing things that'll get the ones who are boring or scared to sing to start singing,so as puts them in mood so as they might join in singing they hear come from other stands later. At least you saw the reason i posted it although don't realise it's about getting folk in frame of mind they may join in other songs later
