The problem with the Grand Central service is there isn't one straight back after, ok hanging around London isn't such a great hardship but when you've been at it since the crack of dawn, then sometimes you just want to get home. Decent price though.
As I said the other day, keep your eyes peeled in the Yorkshire Post in the coming weeks as they usually do a £10 ticket offer by collecting a couple of vouchers for East Coast around this time of year for travel in the new year. Not saying they will do it, but keep your eyes peeled.

We got that one back last week, there's no rush across London to get to Kings Cross, and you've got time to get something to eat and drink before you get on the train. I was back home for half ten, a decent time. The problem with the Grand Central service is the unreliability.

Paid £21.60 for two mates tickets. Me and my son have a Two together railcard so our Train Tickets cost £14.30 return.Bought railcard at beginning of season for £30 ,if you use train for away games it is well worth paying for this railcard. You get on average a third off Adult rail price. So if you travel regular with the same mate or family well worth it. 19.23 return train is a great time for me,no rush back to Kings X ,time for a Beer or two. Mel Smooth I take it you should of been on the cancelled Grand Central train last season after Charlton game.I have travelled with them a few times & fingers crossed no problems yet.

It was QPR and he had fun with the odd conductor and policeman, adds to the day out freezing your tits off in Doncaster and having to get a taxi back from Wakey.

QPR what a good day that was, apart from the result. Great support that day ,a close second to support at Fulham. Charlton train tickets will be on sale 3 to 4 weeks time. You can't beat away day,s on the Train.

Driving to Colindale tube station, northern line straight thru to LB, few beers round Borough Market twice in 3 weeks in Feb, sunny Bournemouth in between, tough month on the road and wallet but gotta be done for the mighty terriers.

Charlton and Brentford away in the space of 4 days, which barmpots do the fixture's. Was hoping to do both, but i will settle for the Charlton game by train and it's just a short walk from the train station when you get there.

Granted not as close as Charlton. Think I'll take in the Brentford game, last chance to take in Griffin Park before they move to a new stadium.

Up to and including Friday have been on sale a week but they have only just released Saturday onwards.
