Just what I needed - a feelgood story. Brilliant effort! Aye, bit of a lifter that. Shame it seems to be underappreciated on here. I almost missed it mesen.

Fantastic article - maybe not about how it used to be but how it should be. Magnificent gesture

I don't recall any club helping an individual in such circumstances previously - but maybe I missed something. The intent to help a member of the local community is clearly there and commendable. Is'nt it something along the same lines as the breakfast club that DH is pushing ? Great efforts all round to people less fortunate than themselves. :-)

Great story. Reading about our 1000 breakfasts a day in the programme on Saturday swelled my chest with pride at what our own club is doing. I mentioned it to a couple of mates in the pub Saturday and they looked at me blank before saying "No Way" I know that money will be coming out of Dean's pocket but the club have engaged with our sponsors and through all working together they have made it happen. Don't suppose Sky or Football focus would ever want to hear of what Town are doing as it doesn't involve the greedy League.

Fantastic article and really nice to read how the looks out for its local community. Spain is brutal at the moment with the effects of the financial crisis still hitting people hard and sadly there will be more cases like this ladies but great of Rayo to do this for her. The thing is I have no doubt the players will probably feel good about it and hopefully they can channel that feeling to support the local community more as footballers live at a level most can only dream of, funded by the hard earned wages of those who dare to dream
