I said 'some May need to to against losses' - so agreed I'm not saying we should be spending every penny we got - Im asking if some of that £2m is available. If you don't reinvest SOME of that money you won't develop will you You have to speculate to accumulate, but unless your going to gamble big and go for the premier league, then 18th or 10th doesn't really matter.. trying to do it a sensible way gives us a better chance year on year on a possible promotion. The longer we stay in the division the more chance we have of a freak, Burnley, Blackpool, Bradford or barnsley season and a very big pay day. You could also say we have as many more opportunities for relegation as well. But we don't have the financial power of the bigger teams. So doing it our own way is the only way. When you aren't spouting your 'newsnetwork' horse crap, you actually talk a lot of sense

With all this talk about people wanting Chris Wood from Leicester, which is unlikely to happen, what about Jamie Vardy? He could be a really good option? Not sure if he's injured but with Leicester signing that Karamic recently and with Ulloa and Nugent in front of him he might be a viable target. Strong, quick, works hard and isn't he a local lad? Just a thought....

Sun On Sunday is claiming Southampton want Ross Wilson. Is there a transfer fee? Especially with him being a Director.

I think Wood is the cheaper option of those two

Southampton aren't daft !

It would certainly seem that there's one going spare now but wood would cost plenty - depends wherever vaughan is playing until we get someone else in or is going to play through it regardless.

I would normally say given the opportunity he should jump at the chance but given Southampton's ownership issues, I would be giving it plenty of thought.

How could he possibly help Watford when they have a superior squad and the ability to draft in from Granada and Udinese?

WBA READY TO GIVE UP ON AMEOBI West Brom are pulling away from the deal to bring Shola Ameobi to the Hawthorns and will look elsewhere in their pursuit of a striker. The former Newcastle player is apparently keen to explore options at other clubs

Oh I heard because he was a 'late starter' he wanted guranteed first team football when fit - Town said no - presume all clubs would say no to that - but much better chance of playing at Fleetwood. Mind you we hear all sorts don't we.

A bit of a pisser when the neighbours have brought more in than us despite having a transfer embargo on them. Bloody useless FL.
PS this isn't a go at Town Sent from my SM-G900F using proboards

PS this isn't a go at Town Sent from my SM-G900F using proboards It's also a sign of their 'need' being much greater than Town.... need or desperation, take your pick. And given we are likely looking at different targets then the timing is irrelevant in comparison to us (I know you aren't having a pop at us).

It was more a dig at them being under an embargo but still allowed to sign players.
I was under the impression they'd signed someone last week cos a couple of lads I worked with put a picture from a FB page of some big black bloke at the club shop having his picture taken with fans, his name escapes me but it wasn't somebody I'd heard of. It wasn't Bamba cos I remember him from his time in Scotland

Warnock was alledgedly on 30k plus..which was sort of backed up by the club saying his move freed up a very good amount against the wage bill..
no wonder he was always chucking himself into challenges and being their most effective defender..having seen them on tv 'A LOT' he was always the bloke who made the last ditch stuff or got himself in the right place at the right time for them.
