Okay seen as we've had some ticket news about the Leeds game I thought that was an excuse to get giddy. Don't know if anything has been planned yet but think we should take advantage of having increased numbers in the FML for this game. Just an idea but on ultras shop you can 500 A3 cardboard sheet for £31. That's more than enough to cover the middle block, so get 250 blue and 250 white and arrange them into blue and white stripes prior to the match e.g. (but obviously ours will look much better than Hertha's ) Then on top of this we could have the usual streamers/confetti etc. There isn't going to be a better opportunity this season to try and attract people to the NSL so I think it's worth a go.

There is already some things decided on for te Leeds game. Streamers are ordered, as is ticker tape. The card in the centre blocks is difficult because the middle block never gets full enough. Those type of displays are for the future when we can garantee it will be fuller, otherwise it will look tinpot. A crowd surfer would be better but we haven't been able to track down the crowd surfers that the club used in the Kilner bank. We also hope to have a few larger flags on poles to as well. The main thing we get is bigger numbers in the NSL.

Especially as many people will take advantage of the fact it's £20? Also could encourage people on twitter etc. to fill the middle block.

I love your optimism mate but no I don't think we will fill that middle block. I think we are at least 6 months off that. A crowd surfer is the way to go, it fills gaps better.

Not going to labour the point any more and maybe I'm being over-optimistic but it's been said we get around 600 or something on average in their which will likely rise to 700-800 for Leeds game. That middle block has around 350 seats so I reckon it'd be achievable with encouragement. Either way I'm sure it'll be a great atmosphere in there, looking forward to being in the FML as opposed to gawping at the away fans from the Kilner Bank.

It's just my personal opinion, I think it's to early for that but that doesn't mean it can't and won't be done. Last time figures were checked, the average was 660.

can you pay at the turnstiles for the FML now, or do you need to go and buy a ticket first ?

can you pay at the turnstiles for the FML now, or do you need to go and buy a ticket first ? Currently as it stands you can pay cash on the turnstiles, use a SC on the turnstile or get a ticket from the ticket office. You can use ANY SC, Kilner, main, FMU. It's an open end effectively. We've not had any details from the club yet saying that this will change for the Leeds game but we will post on here if it does change.

Love the idea and I think some of us were trying to plan a big choreographed tifo kind of thing but we don't really have the money atm. It's a shame we can't get big displays but we have to remember we're not even 1 year old and succesfull groups have been going for decades.

Guess the reason I'm so big on the idea is that I personally don't think it's that big a display to just have 300 odd holding up some cards, just trying to think from the perspective of those in the Kilner and elsewhere who are as yet undecided about coming in but upon seeing something like that might make their mind up.

I feel exactly the same way, and as you can probably tell from earlier threads I'm just as enthusiastic too and said months ago we should something really special for the leeds game. But when you consider the £10 delivery fee and people are till skint from christmas and the money in the pot is virtually non existent. I'll see if I have some spare money to put in when i get to the bank but we tried to do the sme thing but with balloons for the Wednesday game on sky and it sort of failed, but I think it could be different with card.

Yeah I get that, and in no way do I want to be seen as criticising or being argumentative, I'm just eager! Looking at recent photos the middle block seems to me most sparse down the front so maybe gentle persuasion prior to the game to fill it might be the answer.

Gotta say I agree with Ben on this one. You'll have to guess which one. Surely a simple card display can't be that hard to sort out. Yh there is a possibility it could look tinpot but is it not worth the risk? At the end of the day even the holmsdale fanatics were and are still criticised by other fans it is just something we have to ignore. Personally I think there will be an increase in numbers on day as the casual supporters will mostly be looking at the cheapest option which is..... The FML

Got some mates down South who are doing a tour of the 92 football grounds and the day they visit the JSS is the day we play the white shite. There's 5 of them and they have all got their ticket for the NSL - unfortunately I am working for it but I told them it's the best place to go...get it rocking!!

If NSL do invest in some boards to hold up can we make sure they can be used several times and not just thrown away. Also if they were to be half blue and white We could buy more as the attendances increased and they could be arranged to spell something.
Ps Something encouraging like- STOP PLAYING FOR A DRAW AT HOME 7 sections in the NS Lower you see so should fit nicely!

Me and Cole had a chat today and we are going to sort a large 2 stick for the Leeds game to be the centre piece of the display and then have the ticker tape and streamers as well.
No doubt the Leeds c**** will think it's a special thing just for them.

Flags need waving!! If you are lucky enough to get a flag please try and it every now and then. Also, if you want s flag I reccomend coming to the front pre-match and asking for one, that way flags are going to people who want to them.

Could just hold one of them up (I would say the 'You'll Never Win 3 In A Row' one but like you say it'll just make them feel special!)

We were planning on using that one... And the 1908 and fear no foe ones I reckon aswell. Maybe a couple of home made treats too.

Don't think I've seen those two? Remember seeing a massive 'We fear no foe' one pictured in someone's garden and I thought that'd be ace as a banner to put up in front of us all.

Let's make sure everyone get there early for the Leeds game. There are gonna be loads of wavey flags to put out and put in position. There are new ones arriving and there are loads in the containing that weren't used yesterday. I'm up for getting there as soon as the gates open. Whatever time that is?

Need a megaphone and a brave person to be a capo for this one, don't let people have a moments rest even if it takes 48393994990 renditions of blue and White army!
