Australian word for knackered Eg " sorry gaffer I ran up the left flank and back and was totally heft. " A bit like Scannell under Robins, I see the link now.

1 defeat in something like 16 at scunthorpe,
Good luck to him, genuine good guy.

Doing a great job at scunny.. From relegation certs to play off outsiders Possibly found his level and comfort zone? Just a thought. Bit like Danny Ward and Adam Hammill might at Rotherham?

He'll walk out of Scunthorpe when its all gone wrong. However, he's quite clearly a decent bloke, so hopefully he can have success in his current position. I do think Robins is at about the level he will get success at, the egos of championship footballers earning north of £20K a week in some cases will be much more difficult to handle than the humble salaries the Scunthorpe players will be on.
Wonder what would have happened if he'd stuck to his alleged word and never played Patterson and Clayton again after their bust up?

Good manager and i always said that even after he left...but completely lost the plot here and doesnt seem to be able to handle pressure Not sure I agree about the handling pressure bit - in fact I think he handles it well. He's fast becoming the guy you hire to keep you up in a relegation scrap where there's pressure to pick points up. His problem seems to be that he doesn't know how to kick on after it. He's actually quite like Grayson in that respect except his expertise was getting promoted from league 1 but then couldn't kick on.

Not sure i would call that pressure - if anything the exact opposite. He's good at getting results (not losing) and if you're down at the bottom that will soon lift you up the table...after that there is 0 pressure for the season Think the pressure he was under here was we wanted something from him that was out of his comfort zone (a style of "good" football.. (i think he could have brought good football with 4-3-3, but he got too hung up on 3-5-2))....and when it didnt work he walked

I liked Robins, he was ok, but his obsession with 352 was ominous, particularly at the expense of the 'round pegs' philosophy oftentimes quoted
