Has anyone got the clip of Kenny Irons scoring the winner for us down there? It seems to have been erased from history

I can't wait for you to play Chelsea either. I'm betting they get double figures.

My memories are : The away end is very steep with little legroom. Security patting me down and being a bit over zealous. And getting Arjen Robben's autograph, back when he had a full head of hair.

Police have sniffer dogs near the away turnstyles so a good % of your smackhead following on the ale n marching powder will be carted off to the Tower of London and good riddance, hope you get absolutely walloped!

What's to gloat about? You've played them before.
We played Wigan two years ago in the cup on our way to Wembley. There's an away pub in the complex next to the away end to drink in.

Get off at Fulham Broadway or Earls Court, if you get off at Earls Court walk through Brompton Cemetery, which leads straight out by the ground. Probably best drinking away from the ground as it will be full of Chelsea. Pick an area of London and go drinking there, plenty of boozers in Fulham.

Sounds like a few are going to Earls Court so will probably head there.

Don't get pissed and give their German players a Hitler salute, their stewards get a bit arsey about it, dunno how I stayed in the ground
Sent from my SM-G900F using proboards

Really it's a bit petty slagging off the bantams. I wish we bothered in the cups and we might have some exciting away days or home ties to relish.
Have a good day at the bridge Bilo. I hope you get a result.

After a fairly miserable period of austerity (in football terms) the first visit to Chelski served to re-kindle a lot of my enthusiasm for supporting Town...
I vividly remember the feeling of utter disbelief the moment GTF's cross shot went in - indeed I have to watch the the DVD to remind myself that it DID go in....somewhere on this MB there's a photo of Jeff Stelling, on Soccer Saturday, looking stunned as he reads the score. An utterly priceless moment..
They turned the screw a (little) bit (bloody Robben) after that and the inevitable happened, but what a moment - equal to anything I can remember in over 50 years of following the club.
I hope you lot get at least one big buzz like that on Saturday - I know you got there a couple of years ago but to score at the bridge against THAT defence really will be something special..
Have a great day and bloody good luck - I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
More important though; three points at Wigan...

Know a few in Burslem for your next away match at Port Vale. Mind you don't suppose you will fill it for that one eh.

Can't wait for Chelsea away on Saturday! What are your memories of your cup games there? Any advice on pubs etc? Hey Bilo, this might sound daft, but bear with me ! Go 2 stops past Fulham Broadway and get off at Putney Bridge, decent boozer, The Eight Bells just outside tube station. Should be quiet as Fulham are away, we did this when we played Chelsea and worked great.

Slug & Lettuce Kings Road, probably closest Pub to the ground that lets in away fans.

My brother & I went to Brogans Irish bar on Fulham Road in 2006 - there was plenty of Chelsea fans in there but they were ok with us apart from trying to wind us up by saying that Roman had a golden throne he sat on to watch the match from his box ;-)

Good luck you will need it, great day out though. Horrendous ground to get away from in a car.

I see Harry Gration is down there for Look Bradford. I can't remember them sending anyone when we were there or at the Emirates.
