We are on a barren run... The John smith vultures are circling and howling .. Makes a lot of sense to me to stabilise a position where we've been weakened considerably So just to confirm we can't play any of the youngsters when we're on a bad run in case it shatters their confidence and when were on a good run it wouldn't be fair on the man in the shirt no doubt, but we can play someone else's youngsters ? I'm not denying this kid from Man U is a good player but it makes a mockery of this pathways bullshit if we are supposedly in a position when we are safe and in an injury crisis but still won't play any of our youngsters. I'd forget about the pathways crap spouted to us. Just more bullshit from the club

Get your fingers and thumb, I take it you have 5 on at least one hand ? Put your thumb out and count that as tier 1, = Top flight, = Premier league, Continue counting down using the rest of your fingers, If you get to your last finger and you don't have tier 5,= Conference, You must have messed up, Try having another go, Pretty easy when you get the jist of it. Tier 1 - Premier League Tier 2 - Championship Tier 3 - League 1 What am I doing wrong there exactly?

I think his first games will come at LB. Won't be going into CB until he develops physically, wouldn't be able to cope We play Wallace n hes not exactly a unit He's 6,2" and must be pushing past 12 stone

But I thought we were safe? So why bring in a player from Man Utd who won't be joining us as he just signed a new contract with them - and then loan out our 'outstanding' left back prospect. He's either not that outstanding - or we have a puddled policy. With only a handful of games to go - and it the club really means what it says - "William has been a standout performer for the Club’s Under-21 team this season" Then why not throw him in ready or not and tell him the position is his until the end of the season - do your best. He cant be that shit surely that he would fook it up?
I think he's a good prospect at CENTRE HALF who can also stand in at left back isn't he??
I don't profess to know much about the youngsters, but if he's who I think he is, I saw him in a Youth Cup game last season, and he was VERY good, really leading the team from the heart of defence.
He made me think at the time "this is what Peter Clarke would be playing like if he'd been born 12 years later". Seemed to have the strength, drive and commitment to do the ugly stuff, but was comfortable with the ball whilst he was at it.
Hopefully he gets some regular game time at Kidderminster, and comes back ready to slot in... in my head he would effectively replace Gerrard and be pushing to get ahead of Wallace next season.

So in other words he'll go elsewhere to play in his actual position, whilst we'll get an actual attacking LB, which we're crying out for. Possibly even with a view for next season. Sounds like someone is talking bullshit about bullshit.

Eh, I thought he said not much difference between the Conference and the third tier, aka League 2? Which is true. Some of the top Conference clubs are bigger than tge lower 8 league clubs. Does the premier league not count as a tier? Not in the Football League no, in English football, yes. I presumed the OP was saying that there isn't much difference between Division 2, being the 3rd tier of The Football League and the Conference.
