I know Evans is the butt of a lot of jokes and generally despised by a lot on here, but his treatment by that clown Cellino is appalling. They haven't even sacked the bloke yet but are openly touting other managers.

Karl Robinson would have been an awesome appointment. A sulky scouse twat that's underachieved for season after season in league one with a good budget working for a fruit loop of a control freak. Horrible manager, horrible club. Please have second thoughts Karl.

West Yorkshire Sport @wysdaily 3m3 minutes ago Leeds United not yet met conditions to speak to manager Darrell Clarke who Bristol Rovers have offered new & improved 3 year deal. #lufc
so the Mars Bar and a Packet of Crisps incentive failed to work. I wonder if they'll up it to a can of iron bru and a snickers?

I heard they're getting rid of Evans because he did a poo on the training pitch. Make of it what you like.

I heard they're getting rid of Evans because he did a poo on the training pitch. Make of it what you like. you might be able to make it into a pile of poo but I fear trying to make poo into an interesting or amusing shape might be difficult. they failed with a number of managers before to 'mould' them and the team.. its become a very big pile of poo to be honest..

Steve Evans views. The guy's hilarious
“I am still waiting for the decision for next season from Mr Cellino and the board,” said the 53-year-old. “I fully understand they are hectic with a number of things, but I would expect to hear very soon. I will be back to work on Wednesday. There is still lots to be done because I am employed by a great club and I must continue to work.
“To deliver promotion you must plan. The Leeds United supporters deserve a promotion season and I am ready, better than ever physically and mentally, to deliver that.
“We need to help the squad by adding five or six quality players who will know the challenge when they arrive at Elland Road. I have a pre-season schedule ready to go and I have a list of players. Most of them I have discussed previously with Mr Cellino and he liked my vision.
“I am hurting at not knowing my future, but I have always respected the right of club owners to make the big decisions in a time and manner that suits them. I have been patient, but inside me is a burning desire to attack the new season.”

I wrote a similar letter to a devastatingly beautiful blonde when I was 16. Like Cellino, she didn't call back either.

@wysdaily. Leeds Utd Chairman Massimo has told @mirroranderson his squad will have a "special" head coach next season. West Yorkshire Sport @wysdaily 16m16 minutes ago Leeds Utd's Steve Evans tells @philhayyep :" I'm happy to step aside if new coach is one of the best around." #lufc West Yorkshire Sport @wysdaily 16m16 minutes ago Evans also says to @philhayyep : "I'm confident I would lead us to promotion so I presume the remit is now to be champions." #lufc

Clarke turned L666s job down. Oh Dear! Something is so hugely wrong with that club that I am beginning to think it is beyond anyone's comprehension. Massimo obviously but what else? rumours of 7 figure law suits. What an absolute joke that club has become. 50 years a Town fan but I am close (not there yet!) to feeling sorry for the fans. Who would have thought they would be turned down by 2 league 1 managers one who has only managed a football league club for 15 months. Evans is still loitering and Darko is allegedly still getting paid. What a mess.Bet Hockaday would turn them down now. Town are on a completely different level to this lot in terms of managing a football club. Pre season all sorted at end of season. All players sent away with instructions on diet and fitness. 3 players signed up before the season finished. 15,000 tickets sold. Proud to be a Town fan.

I don't think it's beyond the comprehension of Leeds United supporters ( check out the square ball podcast ) or the gaffers who are running a mile.... This club was abysmally managed by Bates, appallingly managed by GFH ( I'll post the david high interviews to give you more knowledge about that crew although high is also a total tosser and the interviews are done on Ken bates party political tv station) .. I actually think cellino is the most sane of the three, and he's totally nuts... And don't forget GFH are still there with a high stake in the club

Now it's 5 or 6.
