I think the 2000 sold is just ticket sold at a fiver, so doesnt include pre bought tickets such as season cards, so its probably not as bad as some seem to think and is probably more than the usual number of walk up ticket sales.

I've just booked two tickets, I really struggled to find two seats together. Apart from right at front of the Kilner Bank there's hardly any free seats other than individual 1's. Thankfully I managed to get two in row FF next to each other in section 3.

With 9k season card holders & approx 1k away fans makes the tickets sold at around 12k.. Unless Ben meant 20k sold?

Could be double that by now, it's been all over social media so I expect a big attendance tomorrow.

I've spoken to about six or seven fans I know closely and all of them are bringing at least ANOther with them, myself included + 2. So on the basis of this sample you'd expect a very healthy turnout.

Hopefully we can sell as many as possible for tomorrow.
End the season (at home) on a high, and generate some optimism going into next season.
It'd also be good to disprove old Clibbens' theory on football pricing and inelasticity of demand.

Last push needed - email all you know - £5 tickets available online until midnight - ticket office open until 5pm or call 01484 484123. I've bought 6 tickets for the kids off Town Avenue who play football on the staff car park every Saturday in all weathers - they're a bit lively/cheeky etc but we need them to be Town fans and not ManU/Lpl/Arse/Chelski. Just felt like doing it but don't tell my wife suicide

It'd also be good to disprove old Clibbens' theory on football pricing and inelasticity of demand. £5 tickets may disprove the inelasticity of demand theory but Town will get only 84p per ticket sold at this price. Thus £5 tickets regularly would condemn us to relegation (due to FFP) or bankruptcy pretty quickly.

I've managed to get 3 additional coming to the usuals, should be a good day if the team can carry on the way they have lately! Great gesture aswell tog, top man!

Clibbens though has stated that he doesn't feel as though the price has any impact on the walk up number of supporters. Ergo, he charges £30 (or whatever it is). Because the same number will buy at this price as at £20. By showing that promoting an offer of cheaper tickets really can bring in substantially higher gates, it might prompt further efforts next season. How many additional spectators would we get at £15, for instance? Worth experimenting with, in any case.

Charltons experiment against us proved that price is important.

It is pay on the day for Blackburn fans so that will add a few more you would think.

How much are they charging the rovers fans that are paying on the day? Seems harsh if they don't charge them a fiver!

Not sure fans of other clubs have taken pity on us when we've paid top dollar like we did at Derby away (£30) when derby fans paid a tenner. If fans want change, then stage boycotts. Away ticket cap won't come if we continue to keep paying daft prices for tickets. I'm waiting for next season, Leeds away, £40 a ticket.... Will we as a club and fans boycott the game?

How could we boycott Leeds' Cup Final? Being more serious prices are getting out of hand. I don't get to go to games now as I live abroad but you are totally correct. Until people stop paying them the prices will continue to rise. I would have more sympathy for the clubs if they were doing it to balance their books but they really aren't.
