Is this extended to away fans? Nothing for them to play for either, wont bring many at full price.

Well done Town. Had the foresight to do this offer knowing today's game would be a cracker.

Tempting, very tempting... The missus might be dragged to her first Town match at that price (maybe reluctantly)!

Well, that's wrong, you cannot charge away fans more than the home fans, although it was the norm during the 80's for away fans to pay more.

Pay on day will be full price so they can charge whatever they like if bought by friday

Told mates that went today on the £20 tickets, that it is a fiver next week, great we will go again they said, then I told them they have to get a ticket before Saturday, hence they say fuck that, can't be arsed to get one, Why can't you pay on the day?

Maybe not, but it's the last game of the season, and Hudds is known as a pretty good town for a footballing piss up. Even if it's only 1000, the difference is £20k-ish. Not sure we'll attract many more if we extend the offer to them - with the £2/£3 service charge per ticket sold the club is barely breaking even offering the deal to home fans.

Doesn't say much for your mates if they're too lazy to even just go online and print the ticket off.

A cracking idea by town. Hopefully we'll fill the stands and on the pitch town will do their part. If yesterday is anything to go by then at £5 it's an absolute giveaway.

It must be more than 2000 sold, surely? When we did it in league 1 against Colchester we had close to 20k with hardly any away fans there aswell.

Trouble is there was a sense of optimism, togetherness and hope about the place then. For some reason over the last 24 months, people of Huddersfield seem to take great pleasure at the moment at ridiculing the football team and at every chance they get. If you think DATM is bad don't join the FB fan sites, I feel like banging my head against a wall reading them. People don't seem to have any pride or respet for us and when they voice it, the younger lads ars very impressionable and take on the same view.

Be interesting to see how many of those blaming Towns away ticketing structure and not being eligible for Blackpool tickets haven't bothered for tickets onSaturday, even at a fiver but are up in arms they didn't qualify for one at Blackpool! Just left two In the Pub tonight.
