It was a hot day. There was no shade. There was no chance of getting a beer. The toilets were non-existant. There was no support just a succession of DJ's shouting 'Stone Roses in the area' over and over again. The sound was atrocious. Ian Brown's vocals were a joke. Squires guitar overwhelmed everything. Draw was in short supply. It was full of scousers. Great day!

The Stone Roses broke way more ground musically than the dirge that was Joy Division and The Smiths. Did they bollocks (and I've seen them live 3 times)
