Decided to go ahead and buy my season ticket in the south stand rather than stay in the fml, anyone know how many season tickets have been sold in there?

300+ and still climbing.....Great effort I'd say that was poor sales considering discounted offers have finished. It might be October by the time you get to go in there fixture dependent.

not the 1,000 the club would have been hoping for, I'll bet they are a bit niffed at the lack of interest...maybe a special promotion/extension is called for...or a half season ticket promo offer..as a taster...for the doubters ?

Think the high price compared to other stands put a few off, nearly 100 quid more than the fml

Don't let the comfort of your own seat get in the way of the facts...There were under 300 SC holders in the NS this season and before the end of it and the start of next we will have many more. The average numbers in the NS this season were 600+ with POD and SC transfers added as fans can in block 1 of the South Stand. The early bird deal has finished for all stands so why is that only relevant to the SS?.....And finally, pro-rata seats available to seats sold the South Stand is the busiest and fastest selling in the ground and well above everyone's expectations.

So there were under 300 SC last season & YTD there is over 300 SC sold. So there's around the same as last year? So we are banking on approx 700 Transfer's or POD. That's nearly as many as Rotherham have signed this season.

Not sure where you're going with this matey, but here goes...We have 300+ so far for next season with a good 3 months to go for fans to buy their SS SC's...Or anywhere else for that matter...This last season we had just shy of 300 from a standing start by the start of the season in August 14...SC transfers and POD weren't fully in place until October/November 14, and now everyone is aware we have block 1 of the SS allocated for this with SC holders in block 2....I'm not banking on anything.....Who can??....And i've no idea what the Rotherham thing means??....What i do know though is that you love a right good away day on the sauce with the lads and will sit/stand in any seat available when away...So why are you constantly getting your knickers in a twist about an away day style party at home ?..Take it or leave it...But why are you having a pop at those trying to create a decent atmosphere at home?

Rotherham player transfers... Never mind. Not having a go Scoff far from it. I had hoped we would have sold double that regarding the early bird & publicity in that area. I think transfers will be high on the day. But I think most are staying put so on big match days there seat elsewhere is guaranteed. By the way them knickers are killing me!

TBH Army i'm just hoping for a better match day atmosphere whatever stand folk go in...This last season has given me renewed hope that i can have a bit of an away day at home....As for the 4 or 5 occasions that we have to move due to 2500+ away fans then i'll be back in the Kilner if you'll have me ....That said if i could persuade you lazy arses to move in to the SS behind the goal and ultimately fill it then we wouldn't have to move anywhere...It would be ours and ours alone

Are there going to be transfers? Yes, and POD just as in the NSL.

Look around.
Fans are taking the lead all across the country, and giving the stadiums some life back. Its down to the fans though, there's only so much we can do as a group to get things moving, it takes people committing to something that they'd forgotten they could do, or have never experienced in the 1st place.
I don't speak for anybody else who's been in the North Stand this season, but for me, it's been the most enjoyable season I've had since before I could legally buy a drink, and that is a long long time ago.
Next season will be better, and the season after that, better still. Work in progress.

Is this information based on fact detox or just your thoughts. just my thoughts ...no 'factual evidence' at all...why, am I wrong do you think ? What figure would you think the club would be hoping for... As with the NSL initiative at the beginning of this season the club had no idea whether it would be a success or not, but the fans were given an opportunity to make it work and it was grabbed with both hands and is considered a success by the club and many fans...That's why we have been given the opportunity to take it to the next level...So the same scenario applies with the SS Cowshed....I suppose it's like having an option..Like having a vote...use it or lose it.

For the fans who have done the FML this season, and for the ones who said no but give us the SS to sum up to only 300 is, frankly shocking... i try not to depair at the apathy with so many fans, as such my admiration for those that battle on in the face of this is considerable. I still think the club have the resources to do more to promote the SS, there are dozens of ways to build up the enthusiasm for it so I hope Sean and Nigel get their acts together ...

I reckon a lot will see how it goes, then move over it it looks like it is a suuccess.
What I fear is that people who are 'on the fence' won't move, then spend the season on Social Media slagging it off. What these people would be better doing is throwing caution to the wind and getting in there and MAKING it a success rather than waiting for other to do it for them.
So many people have said for years that Town fans need the South Stand for thier to be any chance of an atmosphere. It's now time for these people to put thier money where thier mouths are.

Majority of fans who went into the NSL were transfers/POTD. I expect the SS to be no differant.

We had 1000 in the NS against Blackburn (Record) and up to date we have 312 SS SC holders....Traditionally the younger end 16 to 23 year olds hang on to their dosh until the last minute (August)....In conclusion i am hoping for 500 SC holders in the SS Cowshed with another 500 in there from SC transfers and POD..(Full allocation in blocks 1 & 2 is 1200) with a 300 seat segregation allowing for 2500 away fans.....If the average is around the 1000 mark then that equals the record turn out in the NS this season..Pretty remarkable in 1 season.....It's gonna be fun with the enhanced acoustics....Can you hear us over there... .....Onwards and upwards...UTT

Anything been mentioned about possibly having more of the south stand if there's hardly any away fans?

Anything been mentioned about possibly having more of the south stand if there's hardly any away fans? Yes if there is a demand from Town fans and when the away support is significantly less than 2500...It will be based on a game by game basis.

Looking at the fixtures I predict that the South Stand on a Saturday game will only have Town fans in there for 6 games. Due to potential big away followings. Which is good news. Tuesday games are all favourable & expect poor away turn outs. Is it worth the hassle for 6 games or so?

A lot of it, particularly later in the season, will come down to how well the visiting teams are doing. I get 6 Saturday games where we are more or less guaranteed the SS as well, but it could pan out to be more. Of course it's worth the hassle though, this season is the first step towards making the South Stand ours on a permanent basis, we have to start somewhere.
