This would need Tog's help. I like it when the goal announcer says: And the Town goal scorer is James (crowd shout Vaughan) ... Repeat. This!!! Works well with bigger clubs and palace, but could be disastrous if only 2 people shout their name. Worth a try though.

Hope those in there will stand anywhere as in NS, rather than in booked seat! To be able to freely group helps the atmosphere. New name & invitation to all to join us & get the numbers up, next target all the SS. No negativity between town fans, get singing going with those in Kilner, e.g. we are the South Stand, we are the Kilner type of positive banter. Maybe even a third of we are the Riverside?

Where are all the banners going, which end ? I'd imagine the front 2 rows will be netted off as they seem to be most weeks so the long banners that were on the wall behind the NSL could be placed on the netting at each home game Imo it will look excellent.

The SS Cowshed has sold approx 350 SC's so far which is 100 more than we had in the NS in its first season with 3 months sales still to go. The average attendance in the NS last season was 600+ with around 350 making up the numbers by SC transfer and pay on the gate.....Let's say we pick up 100 more SS Cowshed SC sales and hang on to the frequent flyers then we should be averaging 800+ from a total initial allocation of 1200 Do we know how many actual seats are going to be segregated for Town fans? Is that the 1200 you mention?? Might have to have a rethink on banners/flags as with spaces dotted in amongst and everyone spreading about, 400 seats doesn't seem like its going to be much of a space to work on if you do get 800+ in there. Although, the 600 or so free spaces in the FM Lower (going on your 600+ attendance and an assumption of 1500 seats) never had a problem fitting them I suppose, and 600 isn't much more than 400.

350 season cards .....also im worried that there will be no one in North stand lower and we are back to square one with the atmosphere thing......think the NSL was starting to take off personally it just needed to be 3/4 to completely full and it would have been amazing.....can see why DH has given the green light for the SS experiment but fans sharing stands wont work at JSS imo, but hey good luck

I'd like that end to be the Cowshed Loyal personally. Old school roots, keep the good name of the cowshed going. I want the divide between the NSL and the haters to stop, I want more togetherness. A siege mentality amoungst town fans, all singing off the same hymn sheet. I want more fans to get involved in displays, flags and banners. I want that stand permanently. Lots of hard work ahead.

I am old school as well and fondly remember the good times that me and my mates had in the Cowshed in the late 70's and 80's. This is the atmosphere that you should be trying to get to. Songs like:
"cowshed boys we are ere, shag your women and drink your beer" "we're yorkshire, we're barmy, we're round the fucking bend" "those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end we won the league 3 times in row" "when I was a kiddy me ma said to me, will it be l**ds or will it be sheffied and I sain no it'll be Huddersfield Town, Huddersfield, Huddersfield, Huddersfield Town"

TBH mate it's more about fans than flags and the ones we had in the NS served a great purpose....In the SS Cowshed we have the back wall for flags as well as the front 2 rows of seats for banners as those seats will be netted off. The segregation between Town and away fans is 300 seats assuming that we have 1200 in and away fans bring 2500,

You're going home in a Yorkshire ambulance He made me feel sick, so I hit him with a brick ...

We need a blend of old and new. Must not forget our history but we must also look to be modern.

I think for those who don't want the generic songs, we can look at bringing back the old classics, we can't go wrong. But there are plenty of chants across Europe that no British teams use, so might be an idea to trial a couple of those next season too.

THE KENNEL.
Class and fitting with our nickname.
This needs pushing.
Reminds me of the film ID.

The trouble with the old songs is there is no repetition with them, so they last 15 seconds and end.
You have to mix it up a bit. I don't like all the new ones either but I'll still sing them.
Stick a few in there that can be sung on repeat for a few minutes and it keeps the noise going until the next 'classic'.
We could always sing one man went to mow I guess. That lasted a fair while.

It's them two idiots who stand at the front and start the songs that are the problem.

Good opportunity for town fans to get in the South stand and make some noise on Wednesday. Get yourselves in there and make an away day of it.
