I think I know where we're going with this. Anyone who: a) Is from Huddersfield. b) Who follows football. c) Is a Town fan d) Who reads Down At The Mac e) And feels strongly enough about the recent game being called a draw. f) And who was planning to have a holiday or short break in Blackpool
Should: g) Boycott the place.
If such a narrow demographic act together and punish Blackpool as a town then this will really teach the Football League a salutary lesson. Genius.

Why anyone would go to Blackpool for the weekend without involving a Town match is a real mystery to me.

thinking of going to Blackpool for the forth coming Bank Holiday Weekend??? No.. I'd rather spend the weekend in Bradford .Even before the unfinished match saga, I still thought Blackpool was the pits of the earth.. Cheap shitty boarding houses, the constant smell of horse shit, pissed up jocks, shite beer in shite pubs, rip off tacky amusement arcades, and last but not least, groups of tarty doris's wearing "relegate me quick" hats..

I know what you mean, but I have to confess I'm heading there in the summer to watch the airshow.. Nothing like the noise of a Spitfire or a Eurofighter to get the adrenaline pumping pre-season! The Red Arrows are quality too!

No, I'm off to Fleetwood. Top dogs on the Fylde coast these days.

I understand they are about to film Armageddon 2 in Blackpool (the after scenes anyway) as they will not have to spend any money on props, getting the feel the world has ended. The film only lasts 48 mins with the final act being an abandonded football match!
