I was walking past the Grace Gates yesterday and, as the weather forecast is good for Friday, popped in and impulse bought 6 tickets for the 1st Test v New Zealand - £450. ECB are not under pricing their products! PS I think you are right for widgets and a lot of goods/services - but not sure for football fans. I'd go for free tickets or very low price tickets for kids for example to build up some customer loyalty. £25 at Yorkshire! Too true - wish I was going. Just got Friday off this week and happened to be passing Lords - so pushed the boat out. I'm going to Lords and Oval v Australia and to Scarborough week so the cricket bill this summer will be about the same as a couple of Premiership season tickets!

I've got ticket for the Friday of the Oval Test Richard - could meet up if you are there that day? Looking forward to fixtures and hoping for a town away game in the smoke on the Saturday.

Sounds like better planning than mine. I'd forgotten the football season would be back and there was the potential for a double header on the Friday/Saturday. My ticket is on the Thursday - but maybe see you in Shepherd's Bush on the Saturday - at least it won't be Cold Blow Lane!

I wonder how much of a commitment that £100.00 offer is now? I recall it was "only" for those people who bought at the time and kept every year until we reach the promised land. Presumably there will have been several back-sliders who have not retained their ST ( Frankiesleftpeg for one!), but still, I would think many of we loyal fans have kept going since the offer? Not retained but still managed sixteen games this season despite it being a thousand mile round trip. Given that you're in the concession category now, will you be expecting a discount on your £100 ticket? I won't be losing sleep about getting into the Premiership, that's for sure!!!

The first thing Burnley's avaricious board did after winning promotion was to price season tickets at an extortionate rate, so I am not surprised by Bournemouth's prices.
Burnley's "pigs with their noses in the trough" even charged a £100 retainer last seaspn so fans will not desert them after PL relegation.

Take the Executive seating out of the equation(£950) which is a bit like our White Rose club and it's not as alarming as people think. Season tickets range from £550 to £760 in the stands at a average of £32.64/game compared to last season pay on the day price of £28.34(average) Iwan Please do not come on here and post actual facts,it's to much for most posters to be told the truth as they are much happier in there fantasy worlds

In comparison to football which is 90 mins for say £32 at Bournemouth you are paying basically £21 per hour. The football world has lost the plot.

I can still remember when I could get the 18a from Heckmondwike and back, ground admission at Leeds Road, a programme, and fish chips from Market Fisheries on the way home - and still have change from half a crown.

With a very small capacity you would have expected the prices to rocket but it's still a lot of money to pay to watch your team get beat every week.

Market fisheries. I have nipped in there many a time during my school days for a scollop butty (my mates dad owns the chippy) It's a different world we leave in today, £3.60 for one beer at the John Smith's!!!! Ludicrous.
