Anyone who has or aspires to have a tattoo is a chav. And how does that work then, please enlighten me. Does having my ear pierced make me a homosexual too? Only if it's your right ear ;D Sent from my SM-G900F using proboards

it is now fashionable to have them.. not acceptable in a lot of cases... that's the difference..
plus im very much against paying for sad sacks to have the ones they no longer find 'acceptable', removed...
the world of 'fashion' needs to find something less 'permanent' imo....
btw, I have a tattoo..done when I was 21.. about 150 plus all have the same one.. still looking back it wasn't a good enough reason to have one..

'why not'.... when it becomes an 'exam' to post on here, do let me know...
I genuinely cant work out why people read posts to just moan about the punctuation???
give your opinion or argument fine, moan about something that really does not matter ?
people have always had body markings/tattoos, its now become fashionable and in todays society fashion means a level of acceptability.
it will fall out of fashion and unlike flares that can be chucked away or daft hair cuts that will grow out, we will be left paying expensive bills for idiots who covered themselves in permanent ink because it was once cool to do so..

Is there any decent tattoo parlours in Hudd? Or do I need to look further away?

Anyone who has or aspires to have a tattoo is a chav. I have a tattoo which has a deeply personal meaning for me alongside being a graduate, a senior manager, homeowner, 2 kids both graduates, etc., etc. How do you see me as a chav? I'd be really interested to hear how you define one. It's the sheep like mentality of them. They look awful, like a wall that's been 'tagged' by a graffiti artist. Only difference being they're difficult to get rid of. It's also the mentality of look at me, please look at me.... Cheap, cheap, cheap.

Seen Town using the black and white logo a bit recently - maybe that'd suit his preferences? Personally I think the badge, especially the colour, is a little overbearing for a tattoo. Might look a lot better in monochrome.

I try not to take offence as a rule on message boards, but what an absolutely moronic thing to say. You don't know what my tattoo is, where it is, why I had it done; you don't know me or my life, nor anything about anyone else that chooses to have one done. Yet you feel you can pass judgement on a personal lifestyle choice in a completely irrational & generalised way. Congratulations on having your life so well ordered & faultless. And other than calling me cheap, attention-seeking & a sheep, you haven't actually answered the question as to how you define a chav & how you feel I fit your definition.

Why do people on DATM seem to have the need to change a thread into something different from it's original theme?
The original purpose of this thread was to give ideas for tattoo designs. Clearly not everyone likes tattoos some may even hate them - you don't need half a brain to understand that, but why the need to come onto the thread to tell us all and then slag off others who disagree? Is it a "look at me please look at me" mentality?

Just my personal opinion, but Tattoos are for Aborigines, American Indians & African Tribesmen such as Zulu's, or for attention seeking Europeans and half baked soccer players who are incapable of looking 20 or 30 years ahead, when the majority of them will rue the day they had them done.

I imagine you've got this idea from some Daily Mail NHS sensationalism.

no, from a dermatologist..
I don't read the daily mail and I don't read the Guardian..
she expects thousands of referrals, as she had already had 300 from the Kirklees area alone this year in 5 months, I expect she is probably right and maybe the best source?
the day any colour of government gets the true figures from the NHS on anything, we can all sleep better..
