Allinson will be 22 in September. If he isn't good enough to be a back up keeper at that age, then you have to question if hes ever going to make it at all. Thats 4 years older than smithies was when he cemented his starting place! Ed Wilczynski will be 21 in November too so again much older than Smithies was, so between the two of them we shouldn't need Murphy ( either of them) and could take the opportunity to save on his wages. I'd argue that Smithies breakthrough into professional football is exceptional, and those lads have got a few years yet before they need to start programming the sat nav for Lincoln. Look at Simon Eastwood. Older than Smithies, and arguably he's only just started his career as second choice at Blackburn. He could easily have 10 years Championship and League 1 or 2 football ahead of him yet.

I expect that even Tristram would be a bit past it now...
Once saw Jeffrey Fourmile is some posh pub in Oxford many yrs back - came across a bit like his character...
Frightening the age of all these actors now...
