"Two wins in 11 get your facts right!" tell me the other, only Ipswich, even 2 in 11 is pathetic. You are aware that there are more than 11 games in a season right?

Surely it's the manager's / coaches jobs to determine whether young players are good enough and ready to be included in the 1st team, rather than the supporters? I'd be a bit disappointed in Powell's managerial ability if he was reliant on us to tell him whether players are good enough or not. Don't worry we'll tell him if they don't perform. Don't you feel he needs prompting on positivity rather than his negative approach ?

If the transfer window had ended it would look to me like that Deano is getting as much money back as he can before he sells us on. We will have to wait and see how things pan out but I tell you what the way the club is going about its business hardly excites or inspires the fans. The dwindling season ticket sales are testimony to that. I got a season ticket on the strength of how we finished last season i.e. on a positive but reading how we wont pay 500k for a player we want when we just sold one for two million reinforces all the negativity surrounding us and its getting boring now. What an utterly bizarre thing to say. Its only bizarre depending on who said it. From terrierpark its actually quite standard.

1 pt per game = rotherham 20th 1.5 pts per game = blackburn 9th
13 pts from the last 11 not good. But 11 pts from the last 8 is good. We finished well.

I wish people would stop rocking our boat just when our players are embarking on a new season.

Who says town won't spend 500k?? The sun? A twitterer?
I'm pretty sure in each of the last 4 seasons in this division we have spent more than that. Some folk need to wind their necks in and give the manager and chairman a break.
As far as I'm concerned we should have another month left to bring in essential players, I'm not a fan of waiting until the last minute of the window as by then we could be out of the league cup and rock bottom of the league .
I have faith the chairman will deliver

Scanz and Vaughan too....very reliable source. Plus Hoyle is not happy with the Academy and whoever is running it now. Can anyone take you serious when you dont know who runs the Academy? Said before myself be amazed if Scanz doesnt attract interest and Burnley are keen on Wells

Don't you feel he needs prompting on positivity rather than his negative approach? No, I don't TBH. For a start, I wouldn't presume to tell someone who's made a living from football for the last 30yrs how to do their job. If he isn't quite as 'positive' as most of us would like, then it's probably with good reason. I would imagine that the club has short, medium and long-term goals, which will be discussed and reviewed regularly. I'd be willing to bet that of the list of priorities Powell has been instructed to work to, number 1 will be 'do not get relegated'. If that means playing cautiously / conservatively / whatever until we can be reasonably confident that target #1 can be achieved, that's fine by me.

Shame the reserve central league that was about in the 70s is no longer in place . This league gave every player a chance to prove themselves ,and provided match fitness at what seemed to be a very high standard competitive league with future quality players on display. It must be hard for Powell to give a start to an unknown especially when there can be little or no room for error in the championship .
