It's not my favourite shade of blue but I'd be happy with that over last seasons pile of crap

That blue in the season ticket wallets is a really deep blue, i suspect something like this except a bit deeper. A touch lighter blue and that'd do nicely! I fear though... I fear!

I like that. What I call Towns normal blue, royal blue to me, but then again I am an old git.

looking forward to the kit launch tonight, so I looked through the excellent link to our kits of yesteryear.... who do you see when you look at the kits?
for some reason looking at the kits my mind is drawn to certain players, and I see the following .... I was only 9 in 1975, but, blue kit - Alan Sweeney 82 Dave Cowling 86 graham Cooper 87 shearer 91 Iwan 93 Jacko 95 Iain Iain Dunne 09 Peter Clarke 14 Joel Lynch some of the others don't bring anyone in particular to mind.. not sure why - they weren't necessarily my favourite players, maybe its the way the kit looks on the link, maybe the posture?
Anyone else see players in those kits in their imagination? If so, who?
forgive me if my mind has played tricks and these players weren't wearing this kit!!!!

You don't seriously think Puma have us as a high priority do you ?
Big name kit manufacturers don't come knocking at your door, You go to them.
Clubs our size are always given a template which many others will use as well.
Addidas are the kit suppliers of many smaller clubs than Town.

Ahhhh one of my favourite pre season threads this one from all our resident Gok Wans out there!! Dark blue/light blue, thin stripes/thick stripes, striped back/plain back, collar/no collar, blue shorts/white shorts, great sponsor/crap sponsor, peels off in the wash/doesn't, shit kit manufacturer/even worse kit manufacturer, poor quality material that gives you jogger's nipple/material too thin etc Who'd have thunk a boring old kit would come with so many choices!!??

After seeing Farsley's mock-ups above I've changed my mind, we should never go back to a darker blue. All I see is Wednesday/Brighton there.

just plain blue shirts would do for me, We havent always worn stripes No we haven't, and I well remember the last time 40 years ago, please please please Town I hope we haven't repeated that mistake. There's a reason we only did it for two seasons, it was generally hated! A huge sense of relief when we returned to stripes, whatever the shade. We had the blue shirt on two separate occasions, in the 60s and then in the 70s. Both times Tom Johnston was the manager.

Yes I know, and we won promotion the year we reverted to stripes, you'd have thought that would have told Tom something, but no that taciturn old git didn't learn from it.
