Think these templates are a few years old, but they're the basic Puma striped v neck templates. Edit: If you suggest a design you'd like to see mocked up I can try wiz it up roughly so you could see it. I may have to go back to actual work though. That way we can get the placards and pitchforks printed for next season when they launch the one one.

Overall I'd give it the thumbs up. Difficult to come up with something new each season and most kits over the last 10 years or more have been worse than this looks to be. Like the fact that the stripes are on the back as well, I hate those plain blue or white backs. Personally prefer black socks and they'd have looked smart with that kit, but no problem with white. Logo is what it is and could have been worse. Never buy them anyway. UEFA regulations (which apply to European competition but will have to be taken into account when generating templates for shirts) only allow stripes on the back when there is less than 25% chromatic difference between the colours, which is why (for example) Milan and Barcelona are wearing darker colours now. Being a lighter blue will account for this. Not saying you're wrong, but this doesn't explain why Stoke or Sunderland, to name just two, had fully striped shirts last season and remain so for this season as far as I'm aware. They're both proper red and white stripes.

I guess they're big and rich enough to make those demands of their manufacturer for seasons they're not in Europe. Town would, most likely, have to pick from the templates provided by Puma.
It might, thinking about it, be something that Adidas offer - stripes are very much their thing.

blue stripes and white sleeves is WBA...not against the black bits except they are too wide, the stripe on the shorts should be blue, and the socks should be white with a blue single hoop. the puma logo appears 4, 5 times ??

We didn't have stripes on the sleeves when we beat the Blades and at other times, so it's not entirely WBA Sent from my SM-G900F using proboards

Worst kit in my lifetime. Won't be buying another Town top until they get rid of Puma.

Love it! You called it right last night, Roger... except for the multitude of black stripes!!! What the hell have they got to do with a HTFC strip? Nothing. Design for design's sake. It's bloody awful... yet again!

it was a damp squib, followed by a period of apathy leading finally to a final realisation of mediocrity.
the black stripes look like someone thought about it after the kit was done and just 'magi ironed' them on...?
thank god I no longer have to buy 2/3/4 of them...

They haven't had a decent shirt since the 2008 centenary one made by Mitre, a company founded in Huddersfield.I managed to buy one of the few available without any sponsors advertising logo.

Someone with your knowledge to do mock ups should be giving the club a few designs before we next choose a kit and let the fans have a vote, If our current kit supplier cannot make them in the chosen design, Fuck em off, Am sure some other firm will be happy to do it.
And that Blue is what I would call Town Blue, Darker than Covs, Lighter than the Wendys and much lighter than WBA.

Why don't you all set up a crowdfunder, raise enough to sponsor the shirt, and request that you have final say on the design.

Its a puma version of an Argentina kit, Change the the thick black tape bits to 3 stripes, Voila. Cant see it being a good seller, Can we have a nice one off red n yellow keep it up kit again please. It, and the away out, are on target to be record breaking sellers according to Sean Jarvis reporting on early sales. Find that very hard to believe...unless records only began in the last 18 months.

I'm thinking back to how many people bought the 'new' Panasonic shirt when it first came out (last game of 94/95 season, wasn't it?). Half the stadium seemed to have them on!

I've seen Bristol and Ipswich ones, even a Yeovil one but not much of his time with Town. Scored some belters for us, would be great to watch a compilation of Stewy goals over lunch.

Why don't you all set up a crowdfunder, raise enough to sponsor the shirt, and request that you have final say on the design. Or.... We could ask the Supporters Association or SLO to bring the club to task to explain what is the point of having a published customer charter when they can just change it without notice to match what they intend doing. Prior to this season, the charter included a commitment to involve supporters in kit selection, including voting between options where possible. I know the charter is a mandatory requirement of the football league, perhaps once issued, change to the charter should not be allowed without accompanying formal notification of that change. A reasonable person couldn't be expected to keep up to date with a charter that is quietly updated throughout a season. As an aside, the charter as it stands mandates a maximum of 4052 away supporters. In the event that an away club gets access to the Kilner Bank, this implies that they won't have all of the South Stand, contrary to what has been communicated is the intention. Have they changed their mind as to how it works?

Have they changed their mind as to how it works? Charters, mission statements ...... Zzzzzzzzzzz . We're here to support the club, not run it. What isn't mentioned in the charter is a regular quote from the owner. - "it's my train set"

I settle for a shite kit if we performed like that every week.
