Not really, I just think some folk could have been a bit more gracious in wishing Vaughan all the best for the future instead of some of the bile that's been aimed at him.

It was more the construction of your sentence / choice of words I was referring to. It's obviously upsetting you.

The fact that he sees his future elsewhere is only natural. Haven't seen you slagging Butterfield off even though he's done far less for us than Vaughan in his short time at the club.

DH, JB, JV, Smithies etc etc. Its all the same and there will always be gripes on both sides.

If he can't pass a medical, how ironic would that be.

Are you lot all concussed from a Smithies punch or something, the bloke couldn't give 2 shits about Huddersfield Town, always running back to scouseland after training. He's been a sicknote that our club can do well without. Good luck James with your next victim

Well, at least we can repurpose the Joy Division chant now (assuming Scanz isn't going to jump ship too):
Sean, Sean will tear you apart, again!

Its a pity his time at HTFC did not work out better for him and the club. I thought he would be a great asset to us, shame he could not sustain fitness. So, yes, good luck to JV.

If he doesn't go I'd have him in the side against Cardiff that's for sure !! Fred, I agree, provided his heart is still in it here. I suspect though it isn't based on reading Powell's comments. In which case, we have a problem if he stays......

of course he cant agree terms. they are offering less than he will get on his nice fat contract with us, while sat on his arse. stuck with him till July I'm afraid. Starting to believe the 'talk' that his injuries are in his head, its called idleitis a debilitating desease that causes one to only move and earn their wage when they haven't got an excuse not to.

So, JV tweets "the truth always comes out in the end":
Couldn't agree terms with Wigan? Failed medical? Couldn't agree a release fee with Town (has been rumoured)? OR Town have pulled the plug as we don't have a replacement lined up?
You decide (for the time-being anyway).

What a short memory sone fans have, if it wasn't for vaughan we would mist probably be in league 1. He has had his injury problems and now it is best for both parties that he moves on but some if the tripe people come out with and the abuse to someone that kept town in the championship is pathetic.

I couldnt give a flying shit, Loved the bloke at first, but hes been given too much by this club and has held us back, not his fault I know if were stupid enough to give him a stupid length of a contract like we were but come on everyone has a conscience surely his is saying 'you are wasting this clubs time and money here James its time to move on and sort yourself out'

Surely the truth Vaughan isn't worth the money we are currently paying ... otherwise someone would have taken over his contract. Hoyle couldn't make it more public he was free to go!
Sorry James, but that's the only truth I can see. No one wants to pay big salaries for a bloke with your injury record. Your not worth what you think you are
If Vaughan's comment is aimed at Town - a club paying his wages - it's really disrespectful as well IMO
If he's that naffed off, he can always do what Adam Hamill did and reach a mutual termination and take his chances as a freebie
