hope to fuck they get any sort of offer at all for whitehead.. as they say, I will drive him there myself..woe betide any fucker who really wants to stay here if cash is offered.. we have paid so many fuckwits large money to 'not really want to be here' and we end up getting shut of TOWN PLAYERS because we overpaid and recruited fuckwits.. wow that is some fucking poor management.. Why so quick to write a player off after 4 games? Thought he had a good game at Fulham which solidified our defence for 93 mins. Unbelievable how some experts write players off after literally minutes on the pitch.

Could not agree more. Whitehead was very solid in the game at Fulham. Did exactly what Powell asked of him so why knock the lad so early on I. His town career?

Whitehead is decent at his role but I imagine he will only be here for 1 season until a proper Coady replacement comes in.

No matter the topic, you can always get the obligatory Whitehead dig in somehow. From the games I've seen him play ( admittedly only two), I just don't get the hostility. I've seen all 4 league games & I completely agree with you. The suggestion that someone who played last season at the top end of the Championship suddenly isn't good enough for a team near the bottom, doesn't make sense. Everyone was crying out for protection for the defence last season & from what I've seen, Whitehead does that. True, it's not exactly leading to scintillating football, but that's not down to Whitehead. As I've said many times before, as well as setting the team up for when we have the ball, we have to do the same for when the opposition have it.

Dempsey is too good attacking to waste in that position

Dempsey is too good attacking to waste in that position Whitehead is no threat to Dempsey and vice versa. Now Hogg,, that's a different matter.

On the ball he doesn't come across as someone that has only recently dropped to our level, with a reluctance to get his head up and as a result the odd aimless ball down the channel. Due to this, I'd prefer him and Hogg weren't regularly started together. However, away from this he's helped organise us, anticipates things defensively and does try and make himself available. He's a mile off Barry Horne, but not remotely deserving the crap he's getting; he's been ok. Overall, I wouldn't disagree with anyone saying he shouldn't be a guaranteed starter, but it's bonkers talking about getting rid of him within two months of his arrival, which just won't happen anyway.

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of him and Hogg in the same team. Think the pair of them could go the whole season without contributing a goal or an assist. I do reckon Huws will take one of their spots in the coming weeks.
