Me too - but realism (as opposed to pessimism) is not always welcome on here - we may not have the cash to splash that some on here think?

If we sell butterfield for 5 million then coupled with the Smithies money I fail to see how money can be a factor for us not pushing on when the chairman stated any sales after Coady would go towards strengthening the squad. 7 million would without a shadow of a doubt allow us to buy the 2 or 3 players needed to push us on if butterfield goes it will be 3and a quarter million tops. get in thr real world That money is destined for one place only, Hoyle's pockets and Town's debts. There is no way Hoyle would even think about selling the players mentioned, if there wasn't a financial hole to plug. Hoyle made the assertion this was the case at the recent Q & A. He's on his way. Luckily CP will park the bus all season with his negative ( boring) tactics, so survival may be a slim possibility.
