I can't imagine Ameobi Is pulling up many trees at town given they are stalling on offering him a contract. We are desperately short up front and maybe they think he is too similar to Miller?
Either way we need a striker

I was thinking the same. Unfortunately, he's probably too similar to our assistant manager.

How do we know they're stalling? Maybe Shola wants more money and we want to pay him less. The longer any talks go on, the stronger our hand surely is.
He's the one who needs a job.

Oh oh OZ , if you dare to question Marcus then you will be hit with his HAPPY CLAPPER tag and insult Best just to accept whatever he says as fact. Smiley wonky. Thingies

I haven't even posted in this thread, what would Oz be doing to question me? Or is it just popular to have a dig at Marcus if you've got nothing of any interest to say on a subject now? Pathetic.

I was in Tesco's in KL a couple of months ago and I think, having been devoid of familiar brands for 3 years, I bought a can of Heinz baked beans, they were just as I remember them, shite. We have Molinera brand here in the Phils and they are bloody good.

That's the way this board works pal, But don't worry you are no longer alone i am tagged with the same, Some poster with the username Portugalterrier was having a pop yesterday, It is a joke on here, Every single poster on this forum has posted crap. Not one poster on this board know's what is happening at Town, Yet many claim they do, It is a fans forum to discuss everything Town, But if your view differs from the majority on here then boy do you know about it. Most have resorted to personal insults at each other myself included, which let's be fair isn't right, yet for some they continue to post insults or digs at others and in your case, A dig on a thread where you haven't even made a comment, Some of your recent posts have been more valid and added contribution to this board than most of those with 15k posts or more who just post for the sake of it. Don't take it to heart Marcusd,

To be honest I was a little confused by the marcusd reference. Didn't address him at all.
Didn't fancy getting involved in the bickering though so thought it best to let it slide through to the 'keeper.

this would certainly explain his delay in responding to our reported offer of a contract. he simply out shopping for the best deal (understandably).

We can't afford two expensively salaried strikers especially when one isn't currently available for selection. The other would still be a risk to offer a contract to.

My Daughter's partner is a Newcastle fan and he has said Ameobi is to similar to Miller and far slower. Add to that he is always getting injured and does not score many goals. Best wait until January and get a player we might get more use out of especially if Vaughan goes.

Not what we was after (we've got Ish) Nor what Wolves was after. Seems like a nice bloke trying to get back into the game. Some team out there will snap him up.
