The Championship thus far - We cannot compete with the big teams, with parachute payments.
- We do not have the big crowds to finance fancy Dan players
- We do have the best Chairman in the league who wants HTFC to do the best we can.
How about this for an alternative viewpoint - We have cleared the deadwood, that just wanted a wage
- We have sold some prise assets (something we have to do given losses we have made), however Dean amply replaced them all last time.
- We now have a tight/cheap squad who are young and want to play.
- Oh, the premier league have just spent £854m on new players, lots of their old players young and old will want out to go play football somewhere else!!!!!!
Now who can afford some wages I wonder, certainly not Derby, QPR, Leeds, Blackburn etc. Still we will see in the loan window, Patterson is just the start!
I wonder is this Deans new Master plan, in Dean "I" believe.

They may not offer a potential profit, but also low risk as no fee- only wages. Space for two more plus unattached.

I fully expect us to make a couple of top quality loan signings once the window opens, whilst in the meantime, the instant gratification craving drama queens will continue to work themselves into a frenzy.
It's supposed to be entertainment. If peoples' lives are being so affected by a form of entertainment, then they really need to look long and hard at themselves in the mirror and actually weigh up their priorities.

If we can't compete then why bother? It's that negative attitude we carry into our matches like we are already beaten. I.e Hull away, we played our better football in that match, but because they are some sort of Real Madrid of the championship we can't compete.

The most telling aspect about yesterday was not the crud spouted on this board, but the sports team discussing Town on WYS, Radio Leeds last night. Blimey! They were down about it all and as Katherine Hannah said, 6 months ago we were discussing what a basket-case Leeds were - how things have changed. The negativity from these broadcasters will reach a much wider audience than this board and it's 150 hard core posters who type shite most of the time. On the positive, it's strange how a change of one or two faces in an organisation can flip it totally around. This is what I'm hoping for.

And sadly that is what several thousand people appear to have done, Weigh up their priorities and say nuts to it,
