Do we have a recall clause in his loan? Will we need to with our current crop of strikers in such a rich vein of form? Don't quote me but I believe we can recall in January and likewise Wigan can recall Huws at this point also

Paterson scored one goal in the Championship last season and no more a Championship right winger than Joe Lolley, so who Sean would be subbing off I've no idea. Sean will come good I've no doubt, he had a great season last year regardless of goals scored. Scored 12 in 39 games in 2013/2014 season. Not as a right winger he didn't.

I couldn't be bothered checking the stats, but knew I wouldn't be far off! Sean has been disappointing since his arrival (apart from a handful of games) most people see him as our biggest attacking threat, but his stats dont back it up, so ultimately over 3 years he has been poor. Patterson or Lolley would have much better stats after playing 3 years in that position and that's what i fail to understand about Powell's tactics. I admit he has improved his defensive work, but in an attack short of goalscorers, he needs to be contributing 10+ a season, considering his skills as well. Miller.... jeez. He will play 44 games and contibute 6-8 goals, Im afraid that's not good enough either, if he was laying it on a plate for nahki to score 20+ then fair enough, but he is even incapable of doing that! If I was in-charge, both would be impact subs nothing more, nothing less. Think you're being wildly optimistic there mate, at the minute I can't see him scoring 1. In their promotion year, as champions, Cardiff City scored 74 goals to win the league, their top scorer got 8 goals. It can be done, but we don't have 74 goals a season in us!

Well done Huwula hoop. Huws is a far better footballer though. You're a very strange fella I thought that. I'd have Holt leading the line over Miller if he was fully fit again.

Good on him! Saw him play against Deportivo & Notts & didn't look quite ready to me.. Still 3 in 8 isn't bad for league 1.. We basically swapped him for a midfielder for the season who's got 4 in 4 & a goal every 80 min average, which is impressive imo.

leading the line?
its an odd saying these days with a load of teams playing with one striker..
'loner' or 'alone behind enemy lines' might be a better decsription of what miller played for long periods on saturday..
miller does not fall over as convincingly as holt did...he needs to work on that.. He didnt do himself any favours with the constant moaning but its easy to understand why he got a bit pissed off at times..
