Fresh start so going to head over to Hillsborough to watch a hopefully new exciting town team attack and get at a side, wasn't planning on going until the new bloke came in but can't help but feel a bit of excitement about his appointment.
Anyone else planning on a trip to get behind the boys? Would be nice to see a couple of thousand there despite the price.

going. despite the price..
feel a bit annoyed sometimes at those on here who moan about our pricing when the wendies are funding their 'spending' via home/away fans..
they have owners with alledgedly more money who immediately recoup some of that 'spending' via the gate...
its ok for now as they are doing ok and sheffield is a big city with wendies having a good fan base.. 4/5 defeats in a row and lets see..

Tempted to go as it is wagners first game.
The novelty of going to hillsborough has really warn off though, especially at £30.
I'd say around 1,500 town fans will go. We used to take over 4,000 in league 1.

Please for goodness sake do not expect miracles straight away, I have images in my head of about half the away crowd walking away from Hillsborough shaking their heads grumbling about how shit Wagner is how stupid Dean Hoyle is for trusting him how its all Clibbens fault, just give it time, REAL time. For this to work the club is going to really truly need you lot to be patient a lot more so than with any of the past 3 managers.

Anyone thinking Town will come back from Spain transformed into World beaters needs a reality check. Hopefully we will see a positive response but having been trained to do things Robins and then Powells way, a week in Spain is not going to change the entire team philosophy. Not to mention we probably don't have the high energy players this new style demands. Going to take time and some new personnel.

Interesting name, Wednesday.....far more so than our Town.
Pity we weren't called, say, Huddersfield Monday Morning......to better reflect how most of us feel after a typical Town performance.....:-(

Crazy pricing.

would just be good for Wagner to see what our fanatical away following can be like...we took 2,500 to Fulham last season so surely we can match that ?

What's our allocation?

Plenty - all the upper tier for starters - £20 for 'seniors' (33% off 'adult' prices) not bad that.

Can you sit in lower tier I shouldn't think so unless the top tier is full

2 of us going, not happy about giving the wendies £30 of my hard earned but it's a new beginning and I'm really looking forward to it. UTT

Yep just ordered a ticket, didn't think I'd be able to go but plans now changed. It was either this or the Boro game and it's actually cheaper for me to go to Wednesday which was a surprise. I can always say I was at Wagner's first game in charge.

Three of us going. Really looking forward to it. Was a choice between Wednesday or Brum away for me but I always have a great time at Hillsborough. Hoping for a big crowd and an exciting performance!
Anyone going to have a guess what the team will be?
