Hope Wagner is aware that from early February the egg chasers will start cutting up the pitch.

Can't remember the last time the pitch was considered a problem. Either due to rugby or anything else for that matter.

Not this again. Every year this always seems to crop up.

Hasn't it been proven dozens of times that football plays more havoc with the pitch owing to it being more dynamic, multi-directional etc. as opposed to the backwards/forwards motion that RL exerts on it?

I suspect bogart is a bit bored and wants to bring a bit of an us and them mentality between town and Giants fans to the board with a bit of arguing as at the moment all is rosy in DATM land. If he's not then he must be a bit thick as this type of thread has done the rounds every Jan/Feb since I can remember.

Yep. RU might be a bit different given the concentration of foot traffic in and around scrums, rucks etc, mind. Sliding tackles in football hurt pitches too, though there aren't so many of those these days.

Thought the pitch was starting to look patchy against Charlton, once the heating system is in full use again because of frost it will no doubt deteriorate further. Having said that Rugby will not make a scrap of difference, as has been pointed out countless times.

OP is an idiot, and so is any Town fan who wishes ill on the Giants. They're the next major sports team in the town in a different sport, share the stadium and also represent the Town which most of you are from. Their success can only be a good thing. Makes no sense whatsoever to hate on them even if you don't follow the sport. OP is just trying to shit stir.

That photo doesn't really do it justice but I get your point, the Baseball Ground though was consistently and particularly bad as I recall. To go from even back then, a superb lush green Leeds Road to an away match at Derby to find the pitch was unbelievably poor.

Will the Giants have to compensate town if they make the pitch bad The answer is still no. Not that you aren't fully aware of the fact anyway. Your continuing bellendery does no one any favours, least of all yourself.

You talk a load of drivel and haven't done your homework with regards to SL and all of the mergers/relocations. Just another shit stirrer with an axe to grind.
