I dont even know what to say to that. He's saying the football is more entertaining under Wagner than under some of our previous managers. I would tend to agree although its really frustrating the results are not great. I know some fans only care about the result, and losing even in an entertaining game means little, but I watch Town and football in general to enjoy the spectacle. Don't get me wrong, the result is the most important thing, but the manner of the performance is also very important to me. We can all discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the manager and players, but irrespective of the results I think most would agree the general level of entertainment has gone up since Wagner arrived. Results will ultimately judge Wagner as a manager, but IMO if there is any justice in the world the football he wants to play will start to get the results it deserves when we add a bit more quality to the team. Unfortunately, fairness often has little to do with football. Here's hoping though. ricky ,your a clown ,so i suggest you fuck off before some slaps you so hard you wont be seen for weeks ,you fucking prick

Our defence is shit.Full stop!Peter Clarke saying that Boyle should not have been brought on so late in the game.Nahki is doing his job as lone striker it's the defence that is causing the losses.Wagner is beginning to sound repetitive with his after match interviews ie we will learn from this and carry this into our next game.I wasn't at the game.I listened to it on the radio but when we scored I still didn't feel confident that we were going to go on and win the game.We are getting found out.Teams know our defence is poor and are now happy to follow what other teams do against us which is let us have possession and score on the counter attack! Rubbish. Clear you didn't go today. Teams don't like being made to look as poor as town made Preston look today trust me. On another day they'd have got spanked four or five. They got lucky and our defence let us down again as per usual. We looked vulnerable to their aerial threat all game. It's literally all they had. They weren't shit on purpose, they were just a far inferior team on the day who got very lucky. Sent from my GT-I9505 using proboards

Fair enouth its better football to watch, but to claim hes the best manger we have had in years, when we have only gained one place in the football league since he has arrived is something i can not understand, given simon grayson got us promoted.

Not sure why people are questioning Wagner and the possession game, yesterday the game should have been wrapped up after 65 mins the fact we couldn't finish the clear cut chances created isn't wagners fault it's the players on pitch. Not sure if anybody saw the Monday night football a month or so ago where Henry pretty much went through peps plan at barca he said something along the lines of pep said his job was to get the side into the final third and then it was up to them to finish the job and put it in the net think the same can be said for Wagner, the pocession we have in games is creating chances his football is doing its job of getting us into areas to hurt sides if players are missing chances that's surely not wagners fault. It's clear as day we need more quality defensively and maybe up the top end of the pitch but if Hoyle does properly back this bloke in the summer and he can bring in his players to play his system we could be on to something good.

Diagrree Wagner is by far the best coach/manager weve had for years - SG boring typical English dullard 4 promotions to his name though. Got a good record at championship level. Managed to get the best out of Brandon, Rachubka, Taylor-Fletcher, Woods, Clarke, Parker, Flynn and Beckford. Where did he manage GTF, Flynn or Rachubka???

Where did he manage GTF, Flynn or Rachubka??? To be fair, he got nothing like the best out of Flynn and released him on a free. His best time was probably immediately before that at Gillingham, but it was a waste him going to Blackpool.

Oh, and Rachubka played a handful of games at Blackpool and then got injure.d He was hardly anything like a star there. Think Joe Hart went there after he got knacked, actually.

I just remember Blackpool fans wanting them to sign Rachubka permanently after a successful loan spell. For a team consisting of Flynn, Williams, Rachubka and Kiegan Parker to get promoted is some achievement. He's doing a similar job with Preston.

Looking at Wikipedia Rachubka actually played over a hundred times for Blackpool.

Rabs was a bit part player until the summer. He was part of a team that finished the season with ten straight wins. How he did for them, I'm not an expert but I know Blackpool fans were very keen on him signing permanently. When Robbie Williams and Kiegan Parker joined Town, I remember being very excited as I believed they were great players in that division. Parker turned out to be one of the worst players I've seen in a Town shirt.

I remember being happy he'd got a move up the league. I was less excited by the outfield signings, but I think I remember seeing both a few times before; not just at Blackpool.

The possession on Saturday enabled us to have 20 attempts on goal with 7 on target. If we can only convert 5% of our attempts whilst the opposition convert 20% then something else is wrong with our game. We have all seen plenty of teams tippy tapping in their own half before launching it forwards but Town do have possession largely in the right areas of the pitch. It's an obvious statement but all we need now to add to our fluent passing game is take our chances and defend better!!

Possession is vitally key to the way be play because the more of the ball we have the less likely our leaky defence actually has to defend.
It's alright saying possession doesn't count but i'd suggest that's only the case if you build a team around a solid defence, which without Lynch is virtually impossible to do.

It was Joe Hart going there that I remember. I thought he was unbeaten, but you were right. He won every game he played, but then his loan ended with the season.
