I thought he was exceptional in the first half, but should have gone off after 70 or so minutes when he was knackered. It's no coincidence that was around the time Preston came into the game, before that they'd barely had a kick. My thoughts as well, hopefully he will get a good run of games, outstanding in the first half.

Billing has looked fantastic every time I've seen him. No idea why it's taking so long to get him integrated into the first team. He should have been a regular starter 18 months ago. Cant agree with that. He's looked a prospect since he joined but very raw...to have had him as a squad player 18 months ago would have been a push....but a regular starter..no chance IMO...and lets not forget 18 months ago we had butterfield, coady, hogg Seems we've handled it quite well as he's come into the team well and is still only 19. Also quite glad its wagner bringing him through rather than powell. Can't get carried away though - 18 months ago many were saying the same about holmes. (who i still think has a chance, but has still yet to force his way in) He was confident, wanted the ball all the time and mixed it physically, all of which suggest he can do that consistently. These are the areas that Dwayne needs to work on if he's going to have the career that his talent deserves.

Looks a fair player from the little I've seen of him,we need to try and build a team around lad's like this. But if if he's still here this time next year I'll... ..... Say something not negative about the club im meant to support ? I just did? But if he turns out as good as we all hope then he'll move on if that's what we've got to do to keep the club from folding then I'm all for it.

Best individual performance in the first half that I've seen from a town player in a long time. Having said that, it's probably about the 5th town game I've seen sober since I was 16.

Another positive to add to the many positives under Wagner. The results will come.

Shame the likes of Billing basically had their progress halted for a year or so with their being no chance of them getting much first team action. Hopefully some of these kids will really kick on under Wagner. Great to have a manager who trusts his whole squad instead of the same few

Top notch from billing yesterday, keep it up philip because if you do the door opens for others to be given a go, I purr at the thought of billing& booty playing the deep midfield roll & jack Boyle ratting around behind the striker!!!! The futures bright if your blue&white

Just making the point that you cant tell too much from a couple of starts...talk of it meaning he was ready 18 months ago is madness IMO. Encouraging reports though

'Was saying during the game the guy was class and we should open the cheque book for him in the summer.' Haha Preston. Give over.

Massively impressed by this lad. Has a big future no doubt. Plenty of other PNE fans were raving about him on twitter and our forum. He was superb.

Played well yesterday, well done. Long throw in merchant as well - I like those. Long throws don't suit us nowadays always looked dangerous with Cowan and Logan lobbing em in but if you can't pick out Jepson Booth or Scully when throwing then you need to go to spec savers. The only player worth picking out with a long through at moment is Billing, you see the problem?

That's probably his worst game for Town yesterday, thought he gave the ball away needlessly at times and wasn't strong in the tackle, although he wasn't the only one, I saw Lolley and Smith pull out of challenges. A ok performance from him.

I agree with arterrier. He looked a little off the pace yesterday and sometimes his first touch let him down making his second touch a tackle. He'll play better games for us.

I agree, but he was still miles better than owt they had and forced a decent save from Silvestre. Can see him being a big part of the DW revolution.

I think the soft booking put him off his game. Especially after what happened at MK Dons. Its no surprise the lad must crap himself a bit every time he puts in a tackle

Funnily enough a lad I was out with said the same, said he was our best player before he was taken off. Either way a player to be really positive about.

KO'R said on RL that he had played well and was only hooked because of his soft yellow.
