Tremendous game today, oozed class. Strong in the tackle, great distribution and drove forward well with and without the ball. Looks like an absolute star in the making.

Great to hear he played well. Good to have something positive to focus on considering it's been a very frustrating day for us. Hope to see much more of him in the coming games.

Will be more of a test for him next week against Forest, as Preston were shite, but he was comfortably the best player on the park for me.

If Cook at the mighty shites is worth 6-8mil then how much must Phil Bill be worth? Every time i've seen him he's been outstanding

You could see it against Leeds and against Southampton in the under 21 game, he is our next big player. He will leave for decent money in a couple of years if he continues to progress like he is

Great to hear id like to think it isnt the last we have seen of Duane too , thought apart from Brentford away he's come on leaps and bounds...would like to see Hoogg or Whitehead holding, and Billing and Holmes the other 2 midfielders - however very difficult for Duane when he is understudy to Pato and theres also Demps and Huws fighting for a place . Biggest concern for me is the defence just not enough competition for places, Davidson crap

Ive made no secret that i thought the lad was lacking to make it at championship level but on todays performance he has a chance the lad did well On the game itself it was frustrating to lose and we have to be more clinical in the last third of the field we do lack quality when it comes to finishing and we should have been capable of seeing the game out but as ive said before we like 8 more have lots to do to secure our place in this division today overall the other results wernt bad.i have said we need another sriker one who is proven at this level and we may regret it but there is a long way to go yet

Billing has looked fantastic every time I've seen him. No idea why it's taking so long to get him integrated into the first team. He should have been a regular starter 18 months ago.

A class act today - I especially liked the way he seemed to have time on the ball - I counted one misplaced pass all match - he did the simple, and difficult, things well. My Man of the Match - cool, calm and confident and a delight to watch. Contrast him with Hoggy who unfortunately makes passing generally look difficult, and looks like a rabbit in the headlights if he has to pass forwards.

He'll do the Huws job when he goes back to Wigan.

We've got four decent options there when they're all fit. Billing, Whitehead, Huws and Hogg Hogg might it hard to get a game when the other three are fit

Made the game look very easy which is what the best players do, that was some performance from a lad who's barely played for the first team!

Plenty of good positive stuff on this thread for a guy starting his second (?) game , but he's not "great" apparently (muppets!). Don't worry - he will be - this guy oozes class.

I thought he was exceptional in the first half, but should have gone off after 70 or so minutes when he was knackered. It's no coincidence that was around the time Preston came into the game, before that they'd barely had a kick.

Quality. Deserves a run in the team. Would like to see Huws and Billing together. Imagine the football.

Cant agree with that. He's looked a prospect since he joined but very raw...to have had him as a squad player 18 months ago would have been a push....but a regular starter..no chance IMO...and lets not forget 18 months ago we had butterfield, coady, hogg Seems we've handled it quite well as he's come into the team well and is still only 19. Also quite glad its wagner bringing him through rather than powell. Can't get carried away though - 18 months ago many were saying the same about holmes. (who i still think has a chance, but has still yet to force his way in)
