Forest fan here. I have to say that you guys were excellent today. We've got the better of most teams for a long time now, but you really did bring the game to us and we were left wanting.
I know that it was a poor performance from us, but I can't discount the fact that 'Udders ensured we couldn't play our game. Top tactics and a sterling run out for your lot.

Forest forum says After they scored, our midfield pushed up to the forwards and hey presto we were actually in the game a bit more. But the fact is, Huddersfield looked more hungry and aggressive, more positive with the ball and worked together up and down the pitch. To the suggest Huddersfield 'did a Forest' or the 'perfect away performance' is rubbish, they were a lot better than that and played some decent football too - the number 17 ran the show, we couldn't get near him. That they are always near the wrong end of the table yet nearly always outplay us, is very strange... they are the new Walsall (and we helped them You've just been Towned.

Had a quick read of a Forest forum. You seem a reasonable bunch; hardly any rattle throwing, very limited patronising of Huddersfield.... There's the usual perceived injustice when it comes to the ref. It seems every club's fans think this (inc Town). Watch any game on TV and you see just how often the crowd gets it wrong!

Wasn't it us who made you look poor though? Why is it after a good win the other team has always been poor? What your saying is you thought we played well but if you had turned up you would of won? Nah not having that.

I rather like that expression. Should be on a flag. Maybe I'm on the wrong forum.

Love this quote on a Forest forum: 'We traveled up from Dorset more in hope than expectation. Thankfully, we were treated to a very good display of fast, attacking, assertive football, played by a team of players obviously committed to each other and up for the game. It is just a pity it was Huddersfield who delivered a feast of entertainment'

Nah not having that. We are exactly the same though, we lost to PNE, Cardiff, Bristol C and Brentford to name just a few because of our failings not because of a good opposition. Our viewpoint is skewed to our team just as Forest fans is to their team. We can notice this trend of Huddersfield are either brilliant or we are crap each time we beat another Championship team. But in isolation the opponents fans can't. I really hate Freedman for many reasons but he paid us the ultimate compliment in saying they did more homework against us than any other team this season and they still lost badly. Long may it continue!

Their 29{Billing} was immense and won't be with us next season, they couldn't get near our number 17{Bunn}, number 29 and 18{lolley} were superb, and why did we get rid of Lynch, he was also immense. others I've read, it would have been a pleasure watching it, if it wasn't against us. If we can keep DW, we could be the team to look out for next season.

Would be interested in what you think of the Forest fans booing them off at half-time, considering they were only 1 down and was on a 13 match unbeaten run.
Wouldn.t happen at Town would it.

It's late in Sunday, had a look over last few days on this forum - but cannot find an explanation anywhere. Wonder if someone can help (apologies if I've missed it!)... I've seen Phil Bill's goal - probably 30/40 times. I love it, love him, love my team... Great strike... But why the fuck is Mr Magoo (GK!) diving to his right, when the ball is clearly arrowing to the top corner on his left!?... I've considered it was a double swerving shot - like Carayol's earlier this season. But those sort of shots tend to end up in the centre and the keeper just looses the flight. For me, I don't think for a second any keeper would have saved it... But Mr Magoo. ?! I agree, Clayton's goal at Birmingham a couple of years ago was another example of a long distance shot that looked a cracker from the initial view but the more views I saw of it, it left me scratching my head thinking the keeper should have saved it easily.

Ha! Surprised you caught my post!! I posted...re-read it, thought it was too negative to end a fantastic weekend with...so deleted it before the masses could see it!... To be fair, at least with Clayton...the keeper dived the right way (bless him). Just beaten by the power. Just wondered with Phil Bill's if there was a defection? (No there wasnt!), keeper blinded by a flasher on the pitch? Was it a roberto Carlos banana shot? (no!) - only thing I can think of as a likely cause for jumping in the opposite way was a match fixer bonus or use of social drugs? NOTE: the above comments are purely speculative drivel and I do not truly hold these views. However, I demand someone at least tests his eyes. Silly c***.
