I'm down near Peterborough for a CAA conference tomorrow, on the way down whilst listening to TalkSport found out they're playing WBA tonight in the FA Cup. Managed to get an away ticket so hoping the Baggies stuff them.

I saw very little premiership quality from WBA, apart from a couple of decent channel balls in the second half. Glad they won though, I can't stand Peterborough.

Fletcher's goal was a 10/10 effort. His penalty a 0/10.
That's entertainment.

I don't hate Posh one bit. Never got why we should. '92 hurt a lot, Old Trafford we turned up like Billy big bollocks and got battered by the 'smaller club'. No surprise that their owner took the piss. They're a damned sight better at finding strikers than us too.

Lovely city centre, Peterborough, pedestrianised with an avenue of trees, a bit like a French city. The rest is pretty dismal, like everywhere else. I'll forgive them for that though, and being better than us in the recruitment game, as per 61653.

Who are their standout strikers over last few years?
CMS/McClean/any more?
I'd say Rhodes is better than them two put together. Throw in a fit/prime Vaughan and Wells, and I think that list of theirs needs completing with some belters to compete.

He scored 13 goals for em as they were relegated. Can't dispute the Palace move though.

Assombalonga was pretty good as well, moved to forest and has been injured for a long time since.

I got the impression that the dislike of Posh for a lot of Town fans went back long before Westley arrived. I also thought a lot of peoples dislike for Wesley went back long before he became Posh Manager

Boyd never had trouble bagging goals.. they've got a very good record of finding players. My envy of that probably makes me hate them more.

Arguably Conor Washington too, depending on how he progresses

They just signed Tom Nichols from Exeter, who's meant to be decent and scored on his debut at the weekend. We should definitely hire a private investigator to follow their scouts ... I think that's how we nicked Lolley from under their nose!

Not a fan of Posh but I was impressed with some of their players last night... Baldwin, Taylor and Samuelson all stood out.

I think Antony Kay's v Bournemouth in the playoffs is my 'high' benchmark.. Nobody was stopping that! Although my arse nearly fell out when it bounced down off the bar!

We sold JR on for a hefty profit but they've done similar with Washington, CMS, Assombalonga, Gayle.... We've got a rivalry with them & beating Posh is a little bit sweeter than beating say, Swindon but I can't say I have any great animosity. Put it this way - if they were against our neighbours from the big yellow skip at Beeston it wouldn't be a difficult choice who I'd want to win.
