No. They'd cheapen the division.

In fact the last time we were all in the same division was 1987/88 season, when, incidentally, the last time Aston Villa were in the same division as Town. Yes we also got relegated

Im not sure if I want them up but think they have a good chance as seem to do well in 'cup' competitions like play offs. I think they'd make a better fist of it than what we have done in our last 3 seasons too. A stable manager who seems to have made consistent progress. You could see them doing a Preston next year

Always up for more northern teams. The less distance I have to travel for away games, the better Would you wish relegation on dirty leeds ? yes once we'd doubled them

I would enjoy the matches, but would rather they have a good few more years in league 1. If I knew we'd finish above em and come out on top, he'll yeah, but would rather play it safe and see them languish below us. Might even help knick a few fans on the boundaries. I could so easy have ended up supporting any of the local clubs.

I'd rather the yids and sadford were having their derbies in the district league Sent from my SM-G900F using proboards Careful using that word mate, i got telling off from admins. No idea why - I spent 25 years supporting Spurs and chanting "Yiddos" in support of MY team.

No, stuff them. The longer we're at least a division above them the better. It's the historical natural order of things.

Yeah for the sake of a derby. It would be a nice day out - home and away.
However, I don't hate Bradford so much, and from a footballing perspective it wouldn't be good for them. Many of their fans I know think the same. They have a relatively weak squad, and it suggests how weak league 1 is at the moment that they're in the playoffs. They would almost certainly go straight back down - even if they spent a couple of million (money that they definitely don't have), and they'd be back to square one. If it happened next season - the promotion, I mean - they'd probably be in a much better position to go up and stop up.

after watching two 'top' teams from the first division produce something akin to a poor sunday league game tonight, id say dont promote anyone.. they both made Bolton look very good..
anyone other than millwall to be honest..

Watching Millwall v Burton and it's very poor. If this is the quality of what's coming up there's little to worry about.

I wouldn't be surprised if all 3 who come up go straight back down. The standard of that division this season is woeful

Born in Essex, supported Spurs for as long as I can remember, first game of professional football was Chelmsford City, they used to play Monday evening and New Writtle Street under floodlights was......electric!! Celtic for winning the European Cup. Town for only 18 years, but they get my hard earned and are the first result I look for. You?

I grew up hating them down the A62, and never gave Sadford a thought while they struggled somewhere down the football pyramid. So as for them coming up it would be good for the reason they would be next season's Villa at the bottom of the table.

Do we fuck! I hate losing to them, so why even take the risk? The gap between Championship and League 1 must be getting bigger each year though ...

Bradford City's biggest achievements are to make ticket prices so low that they finally beat the dog botherers in the average attendance table and to get a thread started about them on DATM.

Do they pay us if Nahki scores against them? Plucking an imaginary figure totally out of the air as seems to be the norm with this I've heard we get £1m for every goal he scores against them.

All this hatred for Bradford is a relatively modern thing, when I started watching Town in the mid 80's there was no rivalry as I recall, it was all Leeds. After they had won promotion in 85 they became regulars on the fixture list but it wasn't until the 90's that some kind of rivalry developed into what it is now. I'm not really averse to them, I like to see Town beat them but it's Leeds all the way for me. My mate gets really excited over hating them but they're just an annoyance to me more than anything.
