Its 94 years today since we won the FA Cup. I wonder if any of us will be around to see the next one? Getting past the third round would be an achievement these days

Anyone else noticed the FA Cup Final has been a bit of a curse recently ?
Pompey, Hull, Wigan and Villa all relegated, Palace take note.

convertible mini buses - wonder why that never caught on Like the way they all removed their hats when they went past the Cenotaph as a sign of respect.

A number of observations here. 1. The Town side had about 10 teeth between them. 2. Centre partings were in. 3. The football wasn't tic-a-tacky.

convertible mini buses - wonder why that never caught on They're called charabancs. They were originally horse drawn but many were fitted with ex-Army engines that were going cheap after the war. They were commonly used by factory/mill workers in wakes weeks for trips to the seaside, and as such were associated with lots of rowdy proletarian boozing.
