A question, not related to number sold, but wouldn't want to start a new topic!! Last season I had a take 10 card as I worked alternate Saturday's, but I've told them to bugger off after July 30th. Bought my season card, but will I get a new one, or just keep the take 10 card. It does say season card on it, but doesn't of course have a seat number allocated on it at the minute. Have my booking as a photo on iPad, so know seat number, but it might take me a few games to remember it if they're just going to load the old one up? Simply, am I waiting for a new card or not?

Wouldn't it be against some sort of advertising regulations to state we've not sold 15k to entice people when we have? In effect that's lying to the customer and putting pressure to buy. Guessing the club will have checked the ins and outs off all that. To be fair they've never actually said we haven't sold 15k.

Doesn't Jarvis say we haven't hit the 15k mark, right at the start of the pic on the last page? Or is it because he didn't say sold 15k?

I wonder how many we would have sold without the offer?. I would have returned to having one full price this season yet start of last season I wouldn't have had one for £179 or half that!.

It says he 'worked at Huddersfield Town'
He won't know how many we have sold if he has left

Guessing the club will have checked the ins and outs off all that. Yes, that practice is clearly banned outright under unfair trading regulations: "Falsely stating that a product will only be available for a very limited time, or that it will only be available on particular terms for a very limited time, in order to elicit an immediate decision and deprive consumers of sufficient opportunity or time to make an informed choice". This is the reason why Sean states that new pricing will be issued shortly, and why season ticket price always does actually go up after an 'early bird' deal (even though you can often talk nicely and they'll sell at the 'discounted' price).

I suppose it depends on how you interpret the phrase “We haven’t hit the 15,000 mark yet but as I’ve been saying everyday we get closer”

I've been a bit bored this morning so I actually counted all the spare seats in the Kilner & Revell Ward stands and there are 835 seats available, I also reckon there are approx 2000 seat in the FM upper of which about a third have been sold so there are probably 1200 to 1400 spare there so out of 24500 seats, 4000 reserved for away end then 20500 - 2000 means we have sold 18500 tickets, so definitely more than 15000 have been sold.

I am looking at buying two for my daughters as its a bit of a problem as me and my mate are in DGL where its virtually sold out. I've just rung up to check on options as having scoured the seat map there are very few seats except the FMU. I asked if all non-renewed seats have been removed and was told yes defo. I just cannot see how we can't have possibly sold <15k, unless they have 'reserved' some seats for when the offer ends, but really, if anyone has not purchased now, why would they wait to buy at the higher price ?

The club does have to leave a certain % of seats available for pay on the day sales though, so don't assume that every seat in the home area showing as not available has actually been sold.

When I was younger I always saved up over the summer to buy my Season Ticket as I couldnt afford to go to games in the current season and buy a ST for the following season. Id guess many younger fans are the same Wasn't too much of an issue back then granted as it only went up by £30.00, but anyone who is looking to do that this time would be best advised getting the 10 month plan, or borrowing of someone as I reckon there will be a hefty price increase.

Plus don't they tend to leave some smallish areas covered (especially for when teams bring big followings) as extra space between home and away fans?

Yes, good point, we no longer have a 24500 seater functionable stadium thanks to the Frikking Health & Safety crowd. Beyond belief they cordon off those corners when the natural segregation is there. Not like we've got Russians coming is it?

Of course, you can probably guarantee that if it was say England v New Zealand in a rugby league match, the capacity would actually be 24500.....

I had a take 10 SC also last season so maybe they will just 'activate' it for the coming season. They don't have seat numbers on the cards so you have to remember or make a note on your arm...

If we have not sold 15k that is a tad disappointing but equally from a personal point of view I feel really optimistic about the forthcoming season. If this optimism is converted into consistent, solid performances matched with equally consistent solid results then I would hope that there will be bigger gates that follow. Of course I would say to all those that might whinge and moan that they have to pay considerably more than those that have taken the time to get the tickets at the great price, TOUGH

The kilner is 7,333 The revell ward is 8,279 but I don't know the split...

The FM lower, the ends of the stands, the corporate areas, the media areas.

Not sure of the business logic in having such big increases. Anyone who has not bought and now sees the new signings and thinks they might buy a ticket after all will now say no, I'll pick and choose and pay on the day. Could alienate a few part time supporters

If we sell 15000, which we obviously will/have done already, thats a thousand more than what Bradford sold at £150 last season, so still not a bad effort.
