Australia 1 up against Iraq. Goal came from a corner (delivered by Mooy). They should have had a second just now which Mooy would have had his hand in too but the chance went begging.

Where can we watch it? Good question! I'm watching it on ESPN 3 on my phone at my desk at work Presumably there will be a stream somewhere. Google 'reddit soccer streams'

Where can we watch it? . Try this. It's blocked in Australia, but I'm pretty sure it should work in the UK. Otherwise there's soccerstreams.net/streams/4706/iraq-739_vs_australia-741.

Watched the last 10 minutes or so at work. Looked a shocker of a pitch and Mooy didn't look as effective as normal in a position farther up the field.

Watched the last 10 as well. A bit of confusion as to whether the game had actually finished. Was that a good point for you lads?
Mooy played well forward almost ahead of the midfield. I'd rather have him deeper and more involved with the build up and setting the pace of the game. However, he didn't look too out of place further forward, just less effective for me.

His delivery from corners is probably the weakest part of his game, so hopefully getting one right for the National team will spur him to improve further in that area.

No, that's not a good point unfortunately. We're now 2 wins, 4 draws and 3 points behind Saudi Arabia. Level with Japan and Japan are still to play tonight (away to the UAE). If Japan win, then we're 3 points out of the automatic places. Fortunately, we're at home for 3 of the remaining 4 games (against UAE, Saudi Arabia and Thailand with the away game being in Japan).

The next match days are June, August & September - so presumably October, November time. There's a playoff against another Asian team (the 3rd place teams in each group play) and then the winner of that will go and play the 4th best North American team.

I really hope you get auto as it will add a lot of interest to the next World Cup to see Mooy playing, even if he is not with us then.

Aaron Mooy will miss Tuesday's clash against UAE after picking up too many yellow cards in qualifying.
Means we get a fresher Aaron to face Burton!

Is suspended for the UAE game in Sydney after picking up a yellow. Not sure if he stayed in camp or has gone back to UK.
Pretty good chance he'll be available for selection for Burton. Big loss for Socceroos but a gain for the Terriers. I know which I prefer.
