Hi all
I have posted a message on Facebook about the last push for Season Cards - combined with our TV ad which I saw on SkySports HQ this morning (and will run till Monday) - please continue to support your club and get the message as far and wide as you can.
We have had some slight technical issues this morning with mobile devices but are resolving this with Ticketmaster as a matter of urgency. If you still want a season card then either call 01484 484123 or can't get through then email me personally and I will ensue our Ticket Office deal with your Season Card enquiry. Purchasing online via PC should be ok
With regards to the number we hope to announce it shortly after the campaign has closed subject to board approval.
Thanks for your support and please for this last weekend - get that message across with regards to the Wagner Revolution and our Season Card offer
Sean

Great Idea with the TV Ad although would we not have been better off doing it earlier? Either way totally agree with Ted, fantastic gesture and effort by the club at getting bums back on seats.

Top effort by the club, although the 'technical issue' with online buying is not just confined to this morning, it's been like that for awhile!

I don't think the TV ad is REALLY about selling the last dregs, it's more a vanity thing that clubs pushing to "the next level" should be seen to be doing. Might encourage Sky Sports to come and televise us slightly more times than they are strictly bound to if we're lucky, and is an opportunity to do a bit of missionary work and get people talking about Town. Plenty of fans of other clubs will see the ads, see the prices and go, "HANG ON, we're being ripped off"....could be the start of a sea change in football...Bradford have done it obviously with reasonably priced season tickets for a number of years, but not sustainably as high as the Championship.

Love it but it's opening a right diet of Worms by getting involved in the Wagner /Vagner debate

Big well done to the club, I know people have had gripes about some of the things the club has done with ticketing, prices ect but they really are pulling out all the stops to make us a more professional club from top to bottom. Up to us now to back them to the hilt off the pitch and the players to step up to and deliver on it.
Most excited and positive I've been about an upcoming season since the Warnock promotion season where a lot of us felt prior to that season starting we could actually do something.

Shame Patrick Stewart couldn't do the voice-over, nice ad but I don't rate the voice talent, not exactly rousing!

Took me a second viewing to realise the shirts were the prices! And I know the prices! Hhhmmm...the most important aspect of the offer and its not announced but left to the viewer to read it off the back of three shirts, someones dropped a clanger there surely. Most people have it on in the background so the price surely had to be announced!!!

Not bad, but couldn't they find someone a bit more local for the voiceover?

Never mind that, with so many fans in the ground next season how long are the queues at the beer outlets going to be ? Why can't we have some of the beer servers walking round with those beer back packs, dispensing drinks ?

Never in my lifetime did I think I'd see town advertised on sky. Great effort by the club this season well done. Think they missed a trick by not getting the heff on in a pair of budgie smugglers some ray bans, swigging from a bottle of JD with cigar in hand.

Why can't we have some of the beer servers walking round with those beer back packs, dispensing drinks ? That's the only downside to so many season cards being sold. All the hot food will sell out after about 20 minutes and in order to get a pint and drink it before the second half starts you'll need to get in the queue at kick-off. If Sodexo and their ill-educated staff can't cope with 10,000 home fans then fuck knows how they'll cope with 15,000+

could have had girls in bikinis writhing about in the rain of a February Saturday afternoon in the South Stand, whilst some of the support 'tut' loudly with crossed arms because they cant lay out their flags???
girls also in bikinis failing to be able to use the tills in the kiosks and sexily telling punters that they have run out of just about everything..
girls in bikinis directing the mass traffic outside the stadium, badly...
Tog in a bikini frightening the opponents...
Its a strong bikini themed advert but it has sex, shock and awe...

That's another 3 sold this morning. Me and the kids. Can't wait for next Saturday! Got mine this week as well - was wavering after not having one last season for various reasons. But it's a no brainier really even if you only get to around a third of the games. Think we'll be comfortable mid table BUT if our strikers stay fit and hit form it could be a VERY good season. Can't wait to see the likes of Mooy, Kachunga, Palmer, Paurevic, Stankovic etc in action along with the lads left from last year! Oh aye - not forgettin The Hef as well!
