I agree with Ironside as MoM.
I think Rowe touched it 4 times & lost/gave it away 3 times. Showed more petulance with the FB marking him than any creative influence.

Macclesfield Town failed to gain promotion from the northern premier league today, losing 2-1 at home to Marine FC in the play off final......The team from Liverpool step up to the National league North.

Manchester United defending like Town. Standing off, giving Olise the freedom of Selhurst Park to score. And have pot shots at will. Only poor finishing means they’re still in the game at 1-0.

Gillard up to his usual standard tonight. Never a foul on the keeper in a million years

2-0 Palace. Thumping finish from Mateta after defending that it is an insult to schoolboys to call schoolboy. Evans left one on one and beaten easily, Onana beaten on his near post.

They were a bit unlucky with that disallowed goal but ought to be 4:0 down !
Dismal from Man U.

Worst United team I think I’ve ever seen. Palace look really solid, Olise and Eze are different class

Crystal Palace introduced Oli Glasner on the same day in February as AB was at Town, in his PC he told reporters he was no magician or David Copperfield.....5th from bottom when he joined & steered Palace to safety with minimum fuss, with Rohl doing well at Wendies maybe Town just picked a duff German manager?

3-0. Dalot bullied at the back post, allowing someone two yards behind him to beat him to the ball. Uniformly awful from Manchester United. And it’s been the senior players letting them down.

Glasner’s Austrian ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) On a separate note, I wish Alan Smith could co-commentate on the EFL instead of Hinchcliffe/Goodman. So much better to listen to.

Or maybe he had 2 top quality players returned now from injury who actually want to play....presumably to get big moves away. Dont think we can underestimate how pathetic the players have been in all this..........1 mgr in 8 has had a tune from some of them - and that was only a brief interlude.

This is what happens when you take Sir Harold Maguire out of the ManUre team

This is what happens when you take Sir Harold Maguire out of the ManUre team Maguire gets a lot of stick, but it’s near certain this doesn’t happen with him in the team. Casemiro has had an absolute stinker. At fault for three goals, diving in and being beaten constantly, and no positional discipline. He’s not a central defender, but for such an experienced player it has been a huge failure to adapt. And I don’t think he’s even been the worst for Manchester United. On the other hand, Eze and Olise have been great to watch. Elegant, incisive, entertaining. To use the lingo of the kids: ballers.

Maguire has properly turned his career around this season and I do like to see it after he spent so long as the brunt of football jokes. Casemiro is just there for his paycheck at this point and will no doubt be off to Saudi for an even bigger one this summer. It's also probably accurate to call their manager Erik Ten Minutes From The Sack now

I’ve reconsidered. Casemiro has been the worst out there for Manchester United. Captain, but head down, elementary errors, no heart in the performance.

Matthew Craig looks a good player for Doncaster, on loan from Tottenham. Mates a big Donny fan, says he’s their best player and too good for L2 level and you’d imagine he’d only get better with his age. Could be a good loan move next season.

Never really noticed this Wharton much at Blackburn apart from knowing there were two brothers there. He's been class for Palace since signing and has to be under consideration for Euro 2024 playing like this

Ragnick was right when he said the club needed open heart surgery.

Southgate would pick Phillips, Mount and Milner ahead of him all day long.
