Bristol City and Birmingham City both losing at HT. I think that's good, right, if it carries on like that ?

Probably. Unless you support either Bristol City or Birmingham.

Those results keep both losers 5 points back of us too (8 if you count Sunday's 3 ). Excellent.

Just to put this season into even further context & without it wanting to sound negative...
After 11 games, roughly 25% of the season, we're 16 points above the bottom three...
Let's hope for some more decent results around the top 10 tomorrow. Worst case anyway, is that a point at least on Sunday will guarantee us a top 2 spot...

I can see Brentford beating Newcastle to be honest and Rotherham have been better than their position suggest as we've seen. Think they've got it in them to get a draw against Norwich with a little luck.

It's quite bizarre isn't it....I've watched two Premier League games thiis season so far and come away thinking, "hang on, Town are better than that". It's almost like it all might just actually happen.

Depending on how much the new owners (possibly USA consortium if it pans out)are prepared to put in, don't rule Forest out as dark horses for a playoff spot by end of season.

Two "Today's games" threads, but I prefer this one because it's got the correct apostrophe.

Still early but not looking good. Remember the days we used to say that when we were trying to stay out the relegation zone and not drop to third in the league.

I think dropping down to third is no great shakes, gives us an incentive for tomorrow...
Also do you think the BBC will ever lead their live EFL text page with something other than a picture of a Newcastle, Villa or Norwich player???

If Brentford can get a 2nd...the jitters in the crowd will spill onto the pitch...plenty of time left yet..
