Clock ticks past the 5 minutes added on and Michael Oliver puts the whistle to his lips to blow for full time and then suddenly sees Arsenal on the attack and they miss a sitter.
That would have been ridiculous. Either time is up or it isn't, you can't just change your mind to allow a team chance to score

Anthony Taylor what a moron. Misses the elbow, doesn't stop play for a head injury and then books a Newcastle player. I find it ridiculous that VAR isn't allowed to intervene in such wrong decisions like that. Burn now has to play 85 minutes on a yellow card due to an inept referee Yates should not be on the pitch he's got away with at least 4 yellow cards and yet not one booking. That was unbelievable, the ref let him get away with murder. |

Yates should not be on the pitch he's got away with at least 4 yellow cards and yet not one booking. That was unbelievable, the ref let him get away with murder. To be fair, Taylor had a really bad view of the challenge. |

He probably didn't want all of the Forest team/management staff and the owner chasing after him if Yates had been sent off.
Even Taylor might be intimidated by the previous Forest have..

They're paid well to make decisions like that though. The so called best league in the world has some of the poorest referees imaginable. |

'B' team are in action tonight in the PL cup group game away to Sheff Utd, they use York City's LNER stadium with kick off at 7pm. Maybe a chance to give one or two a run out with an eleven day gap in 1st team fixtures after tomorrow night.......Presuming we intend to go with a strong line up Tuesday?

David Coote is such a bad referee, how did he make it on to the PL list of referees. Hilarious that he waved away the foul on the Salah before Nunez scored. The whole game has been littered with weird decisions from him Dodgy bazza |

Maybe a chance to give one or two a run out with an eleven day gap in 1st team fixtures after tomorrow night.......Presuming we intend to go with a strong line up Tuesday? Josh Ruffels started for the 'B' team tonight who were doing ok at half time going in 2-1 having just conceded before the break, 2nd half the Blades turned it on a bit scoring five more times with the game ending 7-2........Hope the young lad in goals doesn't suffer too much backache? |
