I think this game is important not just for the points but if Town are the real deal its games like this that they need to show their quality and how far they have come. Im sure it will be really difficult and i doubt if we can keep a clean sheet, Newcastle have too much about them but if we play with the energy we have shown recently maybe, just maybe, we can overwhelm them. looking forward to it, im predicting a hard fought point. cmon you terriers!

Not in a million fucking years. All your credibility down the pan in one sentence. We'll see tonight, however, as a rival fan it does feel like an inanimate carbon rod could manage that Newcastle squad to the premier league. The fact that they aren't running away with it doesn't really reflect favourably on Rafa. In rod we trust. (To make a complete balls up of it, hopefully)

Not in a million fucking years. All your credibility down the pan in one sentence. Would love to have seen what kind of a fist Rafa would have made of it if he'd inherited Powell's squad and been given the same money to spend on players as Wagner... and on Wagner's wages too! Our man is in a different league. He signed 79 players when at Liverpool - that's seven for each position. Talk about competition for places..

the thing about DW is I haven't seen one flaw yet. Substitutions, man management, passion, developing underperforming and young players, tactics, grinding out wins, loyalty, whilst working under a tight budget....he is the best in the championship, no doubt.

Interesting that Newcastle have gone with Murphy up top. Hint towards their tactics possibly? That they'll look to be a bit more direct and bypass the crowded midfield?

Brighton bottling it, big chance now! And you notice the Trees won three nil and only had 2 shots on goal, that must hurt

With Brighton losing, Toon can go 5 points clear at the top, and 11 above us if they win today. Hell of an incentive for both teams to go for it.

Very happy with the starting line up and the bench. Hope Schindler is fully fit! In Wagner we trust. They should put a life size cardboard cut out of him squaring up to Monk in the technical area to get the lads fired up...

Looked in real time like he tripped himself up, amazed it took them that many replays on Sky to notice it and even then they're trying to paper over it. Fucking fuming after the amount of stonewallers we've had not given this season.

Total dive, another useless fucking ref just 9 minutes it. They handle it in our box, missed by the ref. Ritchie is spinning around on a duck dive claiming a pen before he has even finishing diving. We are the most jinxed team in history. 10 bad refs, hardly ever get a pen and most of them against us a more than dubious. Video ref needed...what a twat.

Ref looks shit scared - maybe of newcastle.
The penalty and now that handball?
Hes having a shocker for us - and a dream for Newcastle.

Very very soft penalty.
Yes. Wells does touch richie. But the laws of the game say that a foul is when the player is tripped. Richie tripped himself. Should not have been a penalty.

Playing us at our own game, high press, closing down well.
Let's see who can keep it up 90 minutes

Shelvey, hacks Wells down, totally misses the ball by miles then screams at the ref "i got the effing ball". What a tosser.
